Lesnar got tko'ed tonight by Overeem who in my opinion will now be the greatest hwt to ever fight ufc. Lesnar announced afterwards his intent to retire. Just insane

Crazy to think that Chuck Liddell knocked out Overeem and Shogun knocked him out twice, different fighter at HW.

For what he did in 4 years with no real MMA training other wrestling is pretty remarkable. There's no way the guy is a pussy either. The beating's he took from Carwin and Cain and never got KO'd is insane. He got tko'd by a liver shot which is pretty much the worst place to get hit.

Liddell and Shogun> Lesnar. Assuming both Liddell and Shogun could weigh what Alistair does right now they would still demolish him.

Exactly. Brock wasn't a great overall fighter. He was good, sometimes very good.. His lack of striking in ANY form really hurt him. You can't always rely on taking the other guy down.

Brock is definitely not a puss. The dude was an NCAA Champ. I wish MMA was big when he was still in his early-mid twenties. We only got a glimpse of what he really could have been.

A healthy Lesnar would still have his belt. Overeem will the the greatest champ the UFC has seen yet at HWT he will KILL Dos Santos (spelling?) Overeem is just a tank and from what i saw is an old 205 fighter who just pumped on 60lbs of muscle. He kept Brock from going to the ground thats what hurt him. Lesnar will probably go back to WWE but I think from now on his legacy lies with him from when he was at his best destroying Cotour, Mir, and Carwin. None of those guys are push-overs.

Lesnar is definitely not a puss, but he still had that WWF dumbass showmanship to him which gets old fast. Just didn't seem "real" as some of the others.

Garbage, this is the most raw competition there is, people have been fighting since the beginning of time. These athletes work their asses of and harder than any other athletes out there. This sport will be right behind the NFL and NBA within a few years. Just because you allow people who wear tapout and affliction to cloud your judgement doesn't mean it's garbage. This is literally the only sport that gets your heart beating faster.
