The MAC is a tougher conference than the Big East. And Meyer didn't just have success at one school, he had greater success than Kelly had at multiple schools. All Kelly did was bail on his team before the BCS bowl his team eventually lost. Why would players want to listen to a man who's never won anything relevant at the elite level?

The funniest take away from this thread is that FLST line was terrible and Notre Dame still couldn't get a bowl win.

I still think the same as I always have. But I know when he signed his contract at Ohio State, he was told he had to provide an ethical environment in order to be the coach. So whether he's a scum bag or not is irrelevant because that's not the Ohio State way.
