Steamed some fresh ones tonight for dinner. Poured on some sour cream butter sauce with a little garlic. Good stuff.

I've tried them a few times and not been a fan...but sauteed with bacon and garlic I might have to try.

Boiled then add some garlic and parmesan cheese. Very good.

My son prefers his dipped in vinegar.

Love em fresh, cut in half and sauteed with Bacon...like The Wife makes them.

Hate em frozen, dumped in a pan, and boiled until the flavor is gone...like my Mom makes them.

...but I will eat them raw.

The parmesan sounds good too. Might have to try that.

Love brussel sprouts, they are probably my favorite vegetable.

One of the better recipes we've tried, and it fell under paleo eating, was to run fresh brussel sprouts through a food processor and chop them up in to small pieces. Then dump them in a large pan and fry them in olive oil and season them with a little salt and pepper. GOAT.

So you like them heated in a skillet, but won't eat them cold.

I see what you did there and I owe ya Reps once I 'spread the wealth'. I will eat them cold. Cold raw or cold cooked after they have been previously cooked in a skillet.

In fact The Wife found a recipe for Brussels Sprout Cole Slaw that we will try.

I am a solid fan of the Sprout!

There was a local Chinese Buffet in town here years ago that used to do them in bacon with a garlic butter sauce...

I would shank a Jolly Green Giant to get a hold of those things again. They went about as fast as the Crab legs and the General Tso's chicken at that place!
