No, they actually have not. Here are some facts for you: 1972 they were NBA champs as a 1 seed, 1980,82,85,87,88 they were NBA champs as a 1 seed, 2000 they were a 1 seed, 2001 they were a 2 seed, 2002 they were a 3 seed, and of course 2009,2010 they were number 1 seed.

I did not say that the lakers need it home court advantage either. Thats not what we were discussing. We were debating the pg situation. I said they need a better pg to be a contender and win a title. You said they did not need a better pg, that they would win it all this year either way.
Then the very next game they get schooled by a team with a clear pg advantage.
