Just as annoying as him yelling "Gimme that shit!" after each rebound in last years playoffs. Including missed FTs. What a fucking tool.

The way both teams played tonight, the Knicks might be favored in round 1 of the playoffs.

However, whoever gets Philly RD1 might as well get a bye.

Orlando without Howard vs Indiana in round 1?

Boston/Atlanta?

The first round in the East is going to suck outside of New York vs Miami/Chicago.

Every West series except maybe 1/8 is going to be really good on the other hand.

Knicks get hot and they could beat either, but they wont be favored.

The Heat will beat the Knicks 4-0.

Knicks will lose in 5 at most to the Bulls or Heat

Id say the Bulls are a tougher match up for NYK though, because theyll kill the Knicks on the boards

Being favored was facetious. Agree though, saying they will get swept is far off. I'd take that bet now...regardless of the opponent.

The Western conference playoffs are where its at though anyways. So much deeper and more interesting matchups

Yeah I could see the Knicks grabbing a game at home or something.

Indiana/Heat is a toss up. Bulls or Boston will come out of the East(most likely Bulls). It'll be Bulls/Boston vs. OKC/Spurs

Those teams played D tonight, which is exactly what they would do to the Knicks, and bounce them in the 1st round.

Why's that? They got the talent + experience and they are healthy + will likely have home court throughout the playoffs.

I dont doubt theyll bounce the Knicks. But I doubt they just demolish them, especially if the Knicks are playing like they are now

the east is a 2 team race, just like it was last year

Experience is a euphemism for age in the Spurs case. I just dont think they have the legs to make a run, I could be wrong but I think something similar to last year happens to them

Playoff basketball is completely different than regular season basketball. Knicks aren't much better than last year's team that was swept in the first round.

I disagree. It's a 3 team race, although I think Boston or Chicago has the best chance to make it to the finals.

Thats such a cliche statement though. The Knicks and Heat last Sunday were playing at playoff intensity and the Heat hung on to beat them without Amare. I have no doubt at all that the Heat will win the series if they match up, but its not like theyre gonna beat em by 15 points a night and sweep them. IMO at least

I give Boston an outside chance, if Rondo plays extremely well. Last year the Heat dismantled them when they ratcheted up the D.

You don't need to win by 15 every game to sweep
