So instead of the NBA taking control of the franchise, what were they supposed to do? Let it fold?

No.

But Stern told the guy who was acting as the GM that he would have 100% control of player moves. Stern had no business stepping in and vetoing the trade. He didn't want to see the rich get richer(which is very shocking for him).

As of now the Clips are the better team. All you need to do to figure that out is watch them play.....oh yeah and check their records.

The Clips are a team on the rise with quality young talent and the Lakers simply are not. Kobe better hope they "tweak" the roster if they expect to make any noise this year. Maybe adding Gilbert Arenas will help? :laugh:

Oh so we are going by standings in February as to who is the best team. Then I guess it's Chicago vs Oklahoma in the NBA Finals ,stop the season no need to go any further.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Well technically the best team always wins head to heads...

So since it's 1-1, I guess the Sparks are the best team.
