Why did Blake get picked if he's an all-star starter?

Good point. Not sure about that. If he doesn't play, it becomes PG heavy. Who gets added? Favors?

Griffin could play in both games, he'd just play very limited minutes in the rookie game.

Kyrie is still in the running for a spot in the ASG as well, though I doubt he gets it.

Reserves All Star voting getting complicated now with Jeremy Lin likely in and probably moving ahead of Rose, LeBron and Durant for MVP

Have to agree with wildcats. Yea, I think Rondo is a really good point guard and I like him alot, but I dont think he fits well with somebody who demands the ball as much as Kobe.

yea..kobe has also won 5 championships without a "real pg". I think they need an upgrade over fisher, but i dont think rondo fits the mold.

Yea in the triangle, they aren't using the triangle anymore. Having a real pg would actually take a lot of pressure off kobe on the offense end, where he wouldn't have to play the role of facilitator and shooter at the same time.

Agree. Pau is ass. Lakers get killed by quick PG's, which would instantly improve if they got Rondo.

Not real sure why Boston is hell bent on giving up Rondo though, he's only 25...

Top 25 players under 25 in the NBA
By David Thorpe and John Carroll ESPN

1. Kevin Durant
....It would come as little surprise if Durant won multiple MVP awards and multiple NBA titles, as his team is built with an excellent blend of youth and role players with good seasons left in their tank. Durant also set a new trend by signing his max deal for the full amount of years available. He's a terrific teammate and is as coachable a player as there is in the league. Similar to: Grant Hill
2. Derrick Rose
3. Kevin Love
4. Andrew Bynum
5. Blake Griffin
6. Russell Westbrook
7. Greg Monroe
8. James Harden
9. Kyrie Irving
Despite playing sparingly at Duke following an injury, Cleveland drafted Irving first overall this past June. Irving has quickly served notice he will be a force among point guards, similar to Rose and Westbrook. Powerful, quick and more skilled than either of those two players at age 20, Irving has helped lift Cleveland from the depths of the NBA to a potential playoff team this season.

He's one of the few guards in the league who can finish 60 percent of his rim shots, make 40 percent of his 3s and be a 50-percent shooter from 10-15 feet. Irving's PER is better than 22, putting him at No. 5 overall for point guards behind Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Rose and Westbrook. He's having a better rookie season than any guard on this list and better than LeBron James had in Cleveland (18.3) during his rookie year. He still can get a lot better on defense and in his overall game, suggesting multiple All-Star appearances and perhaps some league MVP potential. Similar to: Deron Williams
10. John Wall
11. Ty Lawson
12. Dejaun Blair
13. DeMarcus Cousins
14. Stephen Curry
15. Danilo Gallinari
16. Ricky Rubio
He has a competitive nature with excellent ball-handling skills and loves the no-look pass. Rubio plays with tremendous poise for a young player. Rubio penetrates defenses, creates openings for himself and makes his teammates better. He is averaging 11.4 ppg, 4.7 rpg and 8.9 apg in 34.8 minutes per game. However, he must reduce his turnovers, of which he is averaging 3.1 per game. And his two biggest question marks are his ability to defend elite point guards and his shooting ability, currently at just 39 percent from the field
17. Brandon Jennings
18. Mike Conley
19. JaVale McGee
20. Serge Ibaka
21. Nicholas Batum
22. Thaddeus Young
23. Tyreke Evans
24. Jrue Holiday
25. Brook Lopez

Why the hell is Dejuan Blair that high?

I think Monroe is a little high (although he's very solid and even better than I thought he'd be), and Gallo, Curry, Cousins, and Kyrie could all be moved up a spot or 2.

It seems a lot of people are questioning Blair's ranking. There are several players below him that I'd select over him as well.

I dont think Pau is "ass" but if I'm the lakers I would do this trade in a second. Get young at a crucial position, gain defense, etc.. However I can't find a reason for the Celtics to do this deal. Think its a pipe dream for the Lakers.

Wildcats, why don't you like the trade?
