kieb was not a huge fan of schrock or coach b in the first place as i recall. I think that kieb set it up so that it looked like the fingers would point at besancon when schrock got forced out. He wanted people to think coach b had a part in firing schrock so that coach b would not have the support to be the next head coach. IMO i think keib wanted both schrock and besancon out of the smithville football program and that is how he thought he could achieve it. I know for a fact that besancon had nothing to do with schrock being forced out and that he has the upmost respect for schrock. This is just my theory.
Ha! Another twist in the story! Is there any factual basis for your thoughts, Demoralizer? It would be interesting if this is true, and I know many of us were questioning why Besancon would treat Schrock like that after playing for him and coaching for him for many years. From the articles I've read and what you are saying, this Kieb fellow doesn't seem to be very kosher.

Speaking of Kosher...

The Commish wants to wish a very Happy Hanukkah to all our Jewish friends.

Agreed Demoralizer7, Besancon had nothing to do with this, I talked to some people close to the story and it was just a mistake and fabrication, Kieb is behind all of this and he better be getting replaced. Besancon played for coach Schrock and was an assistant for 15 years under him and I know Brent very well and he would never do this to coach Schrock or the program. Think about it people how long has Kieb been here? Answer1 1/2 years and there is a law suite at the school he left where he got an AD fired. This guy is on a power trip just ask some of the teachers at the high school what kind of guy he is. Also he likes to stick his nose into things where it should not be as far as athletics. I hope Smithville people realize this and get your facts before just believing anything you hear, understand where the blame should go....Kieb!

We may need Oliver Stone or the Warren Commission to figure this out.....I don't believe Besancon had anything to do with it.

I hope so. I've had a hard time understanding and accepting the Brent aspect. Another reason we're skeptical of "outsiders",

OK, lets' assume it is Kieb. With his background, how did he ever get the job in the first place??

Exactly my point. Didn't they hire him and are now looking at hiring this interm super? Eventually my guess is this will lead right back to the board. They got away with screwing everyone on the new school and now it will eventually show they are responsible for this as well.

Apparently the BOE background and vetting process is on par with McCain's VP selection in '08.

With an interim superintendent, who was the previous one? Wouldn't that person have a big role in the hiring of new staff last year?

I was not trying to be a smart ass, I seen in the paper today where 2 people with the last name Shrock were charged by the federal government for their involvement in the Amish beard cutting case. I think they were relatives of Sam Mullet, the ringleader of the Bergholz clan.

Schrock, Steiner, Hartzler, etc.

Names that are common in the Amish community ... and outside of it.
