No doubt about it. When I lived in Phoenix, Az I remember one fall morning it being around 10AM and close to 90 degrees already. Was watching an Ohio State game, they showed Lane Ave. Trees changing colors, a cool looking beeze in the air. All the Buckeye fans dressed in layers for the cool weather.

About that time I decided I hated Phoenix. Phoenix, Arizona is like living in a cat litter box.



Much prefer the seasons. A few days of lousy weather is fun.

haha i hope to live in the south west one day! oh and its not a few days, its more like 9 months of lousy weather. most of ohio has about 65 sunny days a year.....

I grew up in SE Wisconsin. The weather as a kid was great. When it was winter, you knew it. Cold and snow. When spring came it melted and began to warm. Summer came and it never got above mid-90's. Fall came and it cooled like it should. Unlike Ohio there was consistency. You knew what season it was by looking outside, not like Ohio where the weather outside is irrelevant and you need to check the calendar to know the season you should be in. I hate Ohio weather.

You get much rain? Too much rain in Ohio. Way too much.

Rephrase... Too much spring/fall rain.

Not too much rain that I remember. lots of precipitation via the white stuff in the winter though. If you don't mind snow, but like somewhat normal weather patterns, Milwaukee area is awesome. I don't think we even had or needed an air condition when I was a kid during the summer. Nice breeze coming off Lake Michigan.

I pretty much love Ohio weather for 10 months out of the year. If it got better instead of worse after the Holidays I'd be perfect. If I could just snowbird January and February .....

I miss the changing of the seasons, but I much prefer the Tucson weather.

It's more tempered than Phoenix, and the fact I can golf year round is a major reason why I love it more. I don't miss the cold at all.

I'd retire to Flagstaff. Love it around there.

Same here - February and March get to me. Cold and snow I can deal with - it's the endless gray, overcast days lin late winter and early spring after the snow starts to melt that get to me. Everything is shades of brown and gray, and looks weatherbeaten.

On the flip side - Even during the worst days of an Ohio summer, there's always a breeze, and the weather usually breaks in a few days. I don't care for Southern or Southwestern summers - after mid-May, it gets hot and stays that way for 4-5 months without a break.
