I could see Stern giving New Orleans the #1 pick since the NBA boggled the handling of the team. The Bobcats don't deserve the #1 pick especially since they clearly tanked all season long.

Jordan has been horrible. He doesn't deserve the #1 pick.

I feel like the highest percentage team hasn't won the lottery for awhile now.

He'd probably just draft Sam Bowie.

I'm thinking it was 2004 Orlando/Dwight Howard.

I'm not sure you can even call what the Bobcats did "tanking". I think they were just that bad of a team/organization.It would suck so bad if Anthony Davis goes there. Just a waste. That team is so far from being competitive.

Jordan got rid of every player worth a shit. I'm calling it tanking.

Isn't that the point of the draft? Davis may not change the team in year 1, but it gives the Bobcats someone to build around.

Right. So Michael Jordan can add Adam Morrison/Kwame Brown next to him.

I know people say the lottery is rigged but I don't think it is. The room is filled with representatives from each team and several media members. It'd be hard to fix the lottery without getting busted.

Nick Gilbert has been instructed that if he doesn't draw the top pick he's not to return to Cleveland. :D

Read this on another forum; "don't forget that if the Cavs don't get the #1 overall pick tonight, then we want the Kings to get it (to boost their odds of giving us their 1st rounder next year) "

Cavaliers (top 13 protected)

Traded J.J. Hickson to Kings for Omri Casspi, 2012 first round pick (protected top 14 in 2012, top 13 in 2013, top 12 in 2014, top 10 in 2015-17, else 2017 second round pick (protected 56-60)) (?-?) on 2011-06-30

Anthony Davis isn't going to fix the Bobcats, they have way too many issues for one player to fix. Hope the Cavs get him, he could take them into the top 6 in the East, maybe top 5.

They were going pretty well until injuries and tank mode went into effect, weren't they a few games outside of the 8th seed for quite a while? They need to upgrade the wing positions obviously as well.
