If we trade for a lotto pick, why would we want to get our asses kicked in the playoffs by FAILami Cheat? Might as well miss and then have 2 lotto picks. Doesn't make any sense.

Sam Amico ‏ @SamAmicoFSO
NBA GM says Cavs "one of about 29 teams" to have called Hornets about Eric Gordon but "he's not going anywhere, so cross him off your list."

Cavs will stay in touch w/Hornets however. Hornets said to still be entertaining offers for either of 2 first rounders to dump Okafor deal

[INDENT]Probasketballdraft ‏ @Probballdraft
Cavs aggressiveness in taking on $ for 2012 Draft picks, not taking a bad deal for a future pick. CLE wants enough space to go for Asik.

Asik, according to sources, will be Cavs primary target in the summer when CLE could have upwards of $30M in space to go after the Bulls RFA

Yeah, not a fan of that at all but I'm a HUGE fan of taking on a bad contract for another high draft pick.

Count me in the bad contract camp as well. Is it just me or is the NBA getting better about bad contracts? Without Isaiah handing out idiotic contracts bad deals don't seem to be as prevalent. Where are the Brian Cardinal deals when you need them?

Hmm..

Another day, another win :D

Cleveland beats Houston 118 - 107

Kyrie with 16 4th quarter points, all in a span of 4 minutes and 14 seconds.

Speaking of 4th quarter scoring in a rookie season:

Kyrie=6.6 pts

LeBron=5.0 pts

Melo=5.0 pts

Durant= 4.9 pts

Stud.

The cavs are now a half game out of the playoffs. Do we go out and get a sg and try for the playoffs or trade away Jameson and sessions?

He's past my expectations for sure. This team has as well, I really thought we'd be in contention for worst record this season.

I thought the team would be horrible too, like bottom 5 horrible. Being good actually kinda hurts them, dont wanna be good enough to just make or just miss the playoffs because then you dont have the top draft picks.

Building through the lottery is a crapshoot as well. For every Kyrie there are two Dajuan Wagners. The teams job is to try and win. It's up to the FO to make the team better.

With that said, the Cavs are only a game or two back from the 4th worst record, so we're not that good. Much improved though.

Toronto just has the Cavs number this year.

Another 0-5 from Gibson. He's been terrible this year. Parker and Casspi contribute nothing again, and the posts continue to do jack.

But Sessions seemingly had a good game and Jamison has 20 again. I really hope someone pulls the trigger on them before Thursday... at least on Jamison, depends what the offer is for Ramon. I just saw the rumor that has the Rockets getting one of the Lakers 1st round picks for Sessions while we end up with Jonny Flynn in a 3 team deal. Fuck that.

Cavs down 2 at the half to Milwaukee.

How the hell does Drew Gooden have 9 first half assists?

Sam Amico still saying Sessions likely to be dealt today. Thinks Jamison will remain a Cav. Deadline is nearing.
