Gilbert Melendez makes Aoki stand up and Aoki had nothing!! Melendez controlled the top when the fight would hit the ground. Melendez should take this all rds to none as he chased Aoki down and tried to finish it at the end.

Shields recovered well after rd 1 and gets to full mount on Hendo and lands some shots. Shields takes rd 2 and steals momentum back and evens the fight! Hendo was in trouble at the end of the rd, could have been stopped at one point with about a minute to go!

Shields gets a takedown and secures side mount on Hendo. A slow rd but Shields controlled the fight and takes rd 3 finishing with a full mount almost an armbar at the end.

Again Shields takes top position and controls Hendo for most of the rd, Hendo can't get anything working. Shields 3-1 rds.

Shields dominated the fight after rd 1. He avoided the big right of Hendo and dominated the takedowns as well as the top position. Side control and gaining full mount and Hendo had no answer. Shields keeps his belt and Hendo is starting to show he is getting old but he's still a badass, LOL!

That right Hendo landing in rd 1 though was almost the end. Huge credit to Shields for recovering and dominating after getting rocked early!

What the fuck happened there? I was on the phone with a friend and not paying attention to the post-match stuff, but heard someone say something like "all right buddy" and when I looked, there was a brawl going on...including some little bitch-boy who was standing up and kicking at a dude (Miller, I think) who was being held down.
