Maybe so but I don't get anywhere near the same vibe from DC that I do Bones. So maybe DC is just better at hiding it.

I've said it for a while now but Jon Jones needs to go full heel, he would be a mega star if he did. People feel conflicted because everyone thinks he is fake.

Even if we went full heel people would think it's fake given his past of thanking God, talking about being a Christian, the Bible verse tattoo, etc.

His problem is that he says/does all that stuff and then comes off as an arrogant jerk at times which creates the stigma of "fake" or "hypocrit" to anyone that is already predisposed to disliking anything/anyone 'religious'.

Like I said, Jones doesn't even seem to really know who he is (heel/face), so anything he tries will come off bad. A-rod is the same way. It only gets worse when he tries to act like he doesn't care what people think, when he obviously really does. No matter what he does it will look like a fake act, because it will be.

Yes but it would make him an even bigger star. Look at Mayweather, biggest douche in combat sports but people care about his shitty fights and buy his PPV's. Jon should start being even more arrogant and talking about he's the best ever and what not. I personally just think Jon is conflicted as a person, he comes from a great religious family but is also an immature kid still who is learning to grow into this role of super stardom which came at 23 years of age which is incredibly hard.

That I can buy and I believe it is probably accurate.

It also works for Mayweather because he is a legit crazy person, and doesn't try to hide it. He doesn't have to act because it comes naturally to him. Like Rob and I have said, Jones doesn't know who he is, and that will get you eaten alive when you have to go in front of media and promote yourself.

I think it is an act. I think he's really a likeable guy, but just has the act for ratings.

Not seeing what Jones did wrong here. You don't grab the throat of a professional fighter and not expect repercussions.

DC was definitely in the wrong imo. Guys put their heads against one another all the time, DC took it as Jon trying to belittle him and got a little butthurt about it.

Exactly.

Some expect Jones to be "holier than thou" because he is a professing Christian. Just because one may profess a faith or belief doesn't mean one has to bend over backwards for people. Nothing wrong with being intense, passionate, and confident.

Not sure if any of you are wrestling fans but if you have ever followed it, you know of Paul Heyman (Paul E. Dangerously). Read on the dirt sheets today that Jones' camp had interest(still might) in having Heyman work with Jones on his promos. Heyman is without a doubt one of the best talkers in wrestling history.

If another man leans in and puts his forehead on mine (as Jones did) I'm busting him in the mouth! There is no reason for any type of physical contact there unless you are embracing (handshake, hug, whatnot) otherwise it's a fight!

A friend of mine works for Mayweathers promotion company and works directly with him for every one of his fights. She said everything he does in public is an act to sell PPVs. She said he's totally different when the cameras aren't rolling. Mayweather doesn't care if you hate him or love him, as long as you buy the PPV. Watch him win or watch for him to lose, just watch.

Jones might just not know how to totally act in front of the camera yet.

He is. Right after it happened, in the article I read, it had a quote from him which was along the lines of "Really? This is gonna be good!"

He might be acting in public a little to play up his "money" persona, but the dude is a legit douche. He's been accused of hitting multiple women, and convicted or plead the charges down most times.

Vitor has the Cyborg face - just totally swollen from YEARS of PED's. I just can't see him looking that good vs. Weidman if he is truly off the sauces.
