Over analyzing somebody based on how genuine you think they are is a tad foolish, IMO.

Jones has done quite a few good deeds that I've seen. Things he hasn't had to do, yet did them anyway.

I think the guy is a good dude who is trying to be himself, but he's still getting used to all of this newfound success. People forget just how young and brief his career is, yet he's now being considered as the face of the UFC.

That's a lot to take in, especially in such a short time frame.
Because if he wasn't winning no one would be talking about him at all nor would they see any interviews. Can't dislike someone you don't know.

12-6 should definitely be illegal.
Why? It is only illagal because when the UFC went in front of judges the defense showed a MA breaking blocks with the 12-6 and thought it was to harmful. In reality the 12-6 does the same damage as in 11-5 elbow. bad logic is the only reason its not allowed

No, a 12-6 elbow opens cuts much more easily.

12-6 elbows should be illegal. They are way too dangerous.

In fact, Jones' only loss has been because of illegal elbows against Matt Hammill (in a fight that should have been stopped in Jones' favor far before that incident though)...

You can't outlaw elbows outright though, and to mention to do so is both impractical and foolish.

Elbows are as much MMA as kicks are. They are a versatile weapon when used correctly.

I agree that elbows are a legitimate weapon, but the problem is that they can be used merely to open cuts and get stoppages rather than to damage the opponent.

That is why they shouldn't be banned though.

I just think they should be banned on the ground...but that's just my opinion. I agree with the first part of your post.

I'm somewhat confused here...

It was previously announced that Cruz and Faber would be the TUF coaches. Now, I'm reading Belfort and W.Silva have been named coaches of TUF: Brazil.

Are they going to run two separate shows and air them both?

Yeah. I think the Brazil one might air on fuel. But Faber/Cruz is the new TUF: Live format

Hmmm.

Thanks for the clarification.

While I'm always excited for more FREE fights, as Colin Cowherd likes to say, less is more (meaning, I hope this does not "dilute" the product).

They have so many fighters. I think it's good since some of the lesser known guys will be on free shows so they can get their names out there.

I will say i think adding an 8th division, 125lbs, is too many divisions
