I think he means something more surprising. Everyone knew or at least assumed this was going to happen at some point it was just a matter of when.

Exactly. I know most everyone loves WEC and I am sure I would like it also judging from how exciting everyone says the fights are but I was hoping for something that wasn't inevitable.

Bellator 34 was pretty good. Frausto split dec Fujii in big upset. Lombard retains his title by UD with constant takedowns but that fight wasn't that great.

UFC Press Release
Las Vegas, NV (USA) – In a media conference call today, Ultimate Fighting Championship® President Dana White announced the UFC is adding two new championship divisions at bantamweight (135lbs.) and featherweight (145lbs.), while also announcing a new television deal with the VERSUS Network to air four UFC fights in 2011.

“As the UFC continues to evolve and grow globally, we want to be able to give fans title fights in every weight division,” said White. “This is a big day for the sport and the athletes who will have the opportunity to fight on the biggest stage in the world.”

The two new divisions feature WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo who will now be recognized as the reigning UFC featherweight champion, and WEC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz. White confirmed that the winner of the Dec. 16 lightweight title fight between WEC champion Ben Henderson and top contender Anthony Pettis live on VERSUS will take on the winner of the UFC 125 main event title bout between champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. This upcoming fight will serve as a UFC lightweight title unification bout to be held next year.
White also stated the UFC is expanding its presence on the VERSUS Network in 2011, and will increase its number of UFC events from two to four per year. Versus is scheduled to air the two remaining live WEC events in 2010 on Nov. 11 and Dec. 16. The Nov. 11 event in Las Vegas will feature “The California Kid” Urijah Faber’s debut at bantamweight as he takes on Takeya Mizugaki, while the Dec. 16 event in Glendale, Ariz. will feature Henderson-Pettis and a bantamweight title clash between Dominick Cruz and challenger Scott Jorgensen with the winner becoming the new UFC bantamweight champion.

“We have a great relationship with the VERSUS network, and we look forward to working with them to give UFC fans even more free fights in 2011,” said White.
Can't wait to start watching these two divisions on the PPV's

That fight was NOT setup. Cain, like Lesnar commented, was the better man last night. Brock tried taking him down and every time he did, Cain popped right up. I love Brock, but I seriously have to question his chin; and yes that's hard to say because he straight up took SHOTS from Carwin and took some last night against Cain as well. The reason why I question Brock's chin is because as one poster previously mentioned above, when Lesnar takes a shot he immediately turns his head and back-peddles. I'd like to think that Lesnar is big enough to stay in there and throw some haymakers right back at whoever.

I think Lesnar beats Cain in a rematch
Lesnar will get killed in a rematch. Carwin will eat Lesnar if they fight again. Lesnar is 5-2 not exactly a stellar breathtaking record.

You basing this on Brock's record? You are aware of who he has fought in his 7 fights I hope?

I do think that Lesnar will continue to have trouble against quality strikers like Carwin and Velasquez though.

Cain is faster, stronger and better skilled. Lesnar will lose again. Carwin had Lesnar and it really was not close in standup skill. Carwin had an adrenaline rush and gassed out pounding Lesnar while Lesnar was in the "I give up turtle position." IF Carwin and Lesnar meet again Carwin will just knock him down and not jump on him and will destroy him in the stand up game.

Sure do. Does not matter though the way SOME people talk about him. Lesnar is not the best. He is not number one. One would think I have just mouthed blasphemy in stating the obvious. Cain is superior in every phase of MMA which was very clear in watching the fight.
