Any word on Sully???
Without him, Kansas wins. With him, OSU wins fairly easily(8-13 points).

Eh...at home maybe but @ Kansas I'm a little hesitant to agree. I hope you're right though.wildcats20;1009839 wrote:Any word on Sully???

I've seen both teams play more than once and OSU is, IMO, heads and shoulders above Kansas right now. Of course it is at the Phog, but I still think OSU wins fairly easily.ytownfootball;1009849 wrote:Eh...at home maybe but @ Kansas I'm a little hesitant to agree. I hope you're right though.

Slapping around Dook aside, I still fear that free throws and a cold streak from mid to long range will hurt them at some point throughout the season, thus my hesitation. When they're on though, I agree they are going to be a handful to defeat.wildcats20;1009853 wrote:I've seen both teams play more than once and OSU is, IMO, heads and shoulders above Kansas right now. If Sully plays, and can get at least 30 min, I think OSU wins in fairly close game, 7-9pts. If Sully does not play, I think Kansas wins.

Ohio State will put a Duke beatdown on Kansas. A "Duke Beatdown", as many of you watched a couple weeks ago, is a 22 point victory that will be diminished by the losing team as an irrelevant loss.

Seth Davis just tweeted that he is getting word Sully is unlikely to play today, is working to confirm.

Several tweets (one from Eleven Warriors) saying Sully is out.
I'll be very surprised if OSU can win without him at Kansas. Too much of the offense is geared to run through him, and if they look as lost on offense as they did in their last game, it could get ugly. I'm betting they adjusted the offense some in practice this week (at least I hope so).

OSU will need Ravenel and probably Amir Williams to give some solid minutes. Thomas will need to pick up the scoring slack. OSU's defense will keep them in the game, with or without Sully. Should be interesting to watch.

I still believe the Buckeyes will pull out the W. Hoping Buford and Thomas have monster games.

^^^Agree SE. Those three will be especially important for rebounding. If OSU gets killed on the glass, it could be a long, long afternoon.

Hoping is one thing. Needing is another. And they NEED both of those to have BIG games to win without Sullinger. On top of that, they'll need someone else to step up scoring wise as well. I think they can still hang around, just not sure they can win without Sullinger. Kansas can put some size on the floor. Without Sullinger, OSU is fairly thin on the front court. Any foul trouble would equal bit time trouble for OSU. Should be interesting to see how things go without Sullinger.Tiger2003;1009927 wrote:I still believe the Buckeyes will pull out the W. No excuses when you lose today OSU fans. If you are only as good as one player how good are you? Kansas is the better team regardless. Allen Fieldhouse is the toughest place in Americas to play! Kansas by 8-10!

LOL please STFU. Not having your All American in the lineup is as good an excuse as there is pal. As you can see above, many of us aren't picking a win without Sullinger. How about you have Thomas sit out this game? Get a clue.Red Rider Nation;1009939 wrote:No excuses when you lose today OSU fans. If you are only as good as one player how good are you? If you cant win without one good player then you really arent that good. The excuses are already coming. This is gonna be fun! Throwing in the towel already? I love it.centralbucksfan;1009942 wrote:LOL please STFU. Not having your All American in the lineup is as good an excuse as there is pal. why are you even posting--aren't you meeting with your parole officer this afternoon?Red Rider Nation;1009939 wrote:No excuses when you lose today OSU fans. anyway, this will be a good test to see how well we can play without him, in case gets hurt again, gets in foul trouble, etc.

Excuses are "the refs swallowed their whistles" and "they were tired from Maui"...Red Rider Nation;1009951 wrote:If you cant win without one good player then you really arent that good. The excuses are already coming. This is gonna be fun! Throwing in the towel already? I love it.
Missing an all-American from your lineup is a fact.

Don't feed the troll.
Obviously Ohio State is in trouble without Sullinger. If Thomas doesn't show up Ohio State stands almost no chance to win. I think Craft and Buford can keep them in it, but they need Thomas to put up at least 15 to win. I like Ravenel and think hell have a good game, but Thomas is the make or break player for the win IMO.

I wish Sully could play, but you sit him now if it will help him later. This game is meaningless in the grand scheme of hings.

I'd say it's all but official he's out. Titus just tweeted it, but more importantly -- OSU went from about a 3 or 4 point favorite to a one point underdog. Vegas always knows...
