Anyone been there? I'm taking my dad to a Redskins game for his Christmas present and I'm looking for some stuff to do around there. We've been there a dozen times so we've seen all there is to see around the capital, but I'm looking for some restaurants or things to do while we're there. I figure since he's watching my team (Patriots) whoop on his team (Redskins), that we should at least do something fun after the game.

Honestly unless you catch up with Skins fans in tailgate, you're better off going back to DC to hang out while you are there. There isn't much in Landover, other than being an exit ramp off of the beltway. I've been to a few games there, and won't go back unless I'm in club seating or in the lower bowl. It is the largest NFL stadium (even after removing thousands of seats), and the atmosphere isn't great. But if your Dad is a Skins fan he might enjoy hanging out with Skins fans that are pretty hardcore even when their team isn't doing well.

Visit Hyattsville, it's only a few miles away. At one time it had one the highest murder rates in the United States.
