Sure does. There are many schools in Stark County. Everyone will ASSUME it is Massillon and say that it is Massillon. When the report comes out and it isn't Massillon...those same people will crawl back in a hole and forget to say they accused falsely. The article doesn't even say what sport they are investigating. Todd Porter makes a living of trying to make Massillon look bad, even though his is an Alum. I trust little he writes.

i don't know todd porter from adam, but i don't understand the dislike most rep readers have for him. i enjoy what he has to say, and his sunday columm is the first thing i read each week. as far as his anti-massillon slant those in tigerland claim, i'm not sure a get that either. this particular case is a news story. how would you like the paper to report this???

This story was just confirmed on WHBC 1480. So it isnt just Todd Porter. It is according to Commissoner Dan Ross. I will NEVER claim to know, or speculate who the 2 schools are. Id assume geussing which schools would get you post deleted anyways!!

Unless we have a JJ mod on our hands, I don't see how guessing would get you in trouble.

Now, if you come on here spreading rumor as if it is fact, that's the only reason it SHOULD be deleted.

I'll tell you what, before they EVER look at Massillon again, they had better look into the above situations, especially Perry wrestling, North Cantons girls sports, North Cantons boys basketball, and Timken basketball.

As an outsider that reads the Suppository..I don't believe Todd Porter has anything good to say about the Massillon program. It definitely does seem like he goes out of his way every chance he gets to make them look bad.

Nor did he say it wasn't. Give him time...he will. I know Todd very well, I personally like the guy, but I don't like or understand his vendetta against Massillon. Especially since he is an Alum. I know why he started, but that coach is long gone and so are the problems.

I enjoy reading his columns too, but if you aren't the target...you wouldn't understand what he has done to the program and what he continues to do. I'm not saying everyone should dislike the man...I'm saying he has an axe to grind and he has sharpened it often.

As I said..I'm not a Massillon Tiger fan..so no..there isn't any 'Massillon paranoia' going on. I was just giving my thoughts on Mr. Porter..which is seems like me and Humpty are on the same page about him. Except until now..I wasn't aware that he was an alum of Massillon.

No it doesn't, whoever it is, if they are guilty, we will find out. If this is unfounded then it doesn't need to say who and ohsaa should not even be starting this whole ugly rumor mill going. If they do catch someone then they should deal with it harshly.

If they lower the boom on who ever it is like the NCAA did SMU then this garbage will stop.
If caught. The program should recieve the death penalty for a year or the coaches should be sanctioned and not allowed to coach for a period of 5 years. Don't just punish the kid like they always do.
