Webbie come on man. I am very happy for your Wolverines. They won a BCS game and look to be back. But you and I both know that was a catch. Oh well they ruled it incomplete and Michigan took advantage and are Sugar Bowl Champs.

FWIW, I've not seen where any UM fans think it was a catch. About 100% OSU fans think it was. Everyone else seems about 50/50.

How many times have we seen in the last few years where a receiver has to complete the catch the entire way through? or however you want to word it.
I know it's the NFL, but remember Calvin Johnson last year vs. the Bears? The continuation thing is getting drilled. Yea, he had the ball with his elbow down, but the nose hit the ground and moved the ball after the fact. He didn't have continuation or w/e you want to say. Like I said before, there were 2-3/4 reviews last night regarding catches against the ground, and the officials were consistent with all of them. Isn't that what we look for with a crew for a game, consistency?

Regarding the calls being consistent with similar plays....I didn't see them, but if they were consistent then thats a plus.

OT overturned catch: Not only does the ball move when the nose of it touches the ground, the receivers shoulder touches out of bounds prior to possesion being secured.

A kicker is not exempt from simulating a snap (false start) and can not move forward in motion prior to the snap (illegal motion, live ball foul).

Who knows what happens on the game winner if it's back another 5 yards. Shaky kicker, Tech's special teams, who knows?

Kickers are moving all the time prior to the snap, watch the Clemson kicker buckle his knee and wave his hands prior to his attempts. The West Virginia kicker leans just before the snap. Now taking a studder step is different that most pre snap motions that kickers take, but leeway is given to them.

Wrong. If you go back and watch it the lineman who catches the football was on the 15 yard line when the ball was tipped. Like I said I am happy Michigan won but that was a bad no call.
