I gotta admit, the Steelers have a nice stadium and for the most part, the Steeler fans were respectful, which shocked me. Lol Talked to the ones around us all night long. Bad outcome, but we had a good time. Met Mendenhall, Kiesel, Brown, Cotchery, and Starx after the game, so that made it an even better experience for the wife.

Yeah, most REAL steelers fans I have encountered are not bad at all.

Agreed and those that I know REALLY get pissed at the NE Ohio "Steeler/Buckeye/Cavs/Indians" fans. Their thoughts are "go away...we don't want you."

Honest question, not trolling (I like neither the Steelers nor Browns): my buddy lives in Cleveland, and made a statement that I found hard to believe. He said Cleveland football fans are basically broken out in 33.3% Browns fans, 33.3% Steelers fans who used to be Browns fans and switched allegiances when the Browns moved to Baltimore, and 33.3% Ravens fan (basically followed the Browns after their move). I was always under the impression that the Ravens were LOATHED in NE Ohio, and the Steelers weren't exactly on any Christmas lists either. Is this even remotely accurate?

No. The further South you get towards Akron/Canton and over towards Youngstown is where the "infestation" of Steeler bandwagoners begins. In Cleveland it's a majority of Browns fans with some Yinzer bandwagoners sprinkled in. If you're a Rats fan you're a leper and risk severe beatdown.

I've never heard of population of Pittsburgh fans in Cleveland, but a lot in Youngstown and further south on the rust belt.

Some transplants/had ties to Pittsburgh, etc. The rest are bandwagoners. Mostly the younger kids who have no morals/soul who only root for winners.

I crack on my boss weekly about how he let his 10 year old become a Steelers fan. People that are from each area know that it's like selling your soul to root for the other. Imagine a Browns fan born & raised in Pittsburgh with NO ties to C-Town?

Exactly. One of my good friends in college was from Pittsburgh. He hated those type of people. I recall a time where one of those dipshit bandwagon fans tried talking to him about the Steelers, and he called him out for being a bandwagon fan, and refused to talk to them about Steelers football.

Anyways, it was awesome seeing Ben go out there and play in the 2nd half after sustaining what appeared to be a serious injury. I know that some Cleveland fans had to be disappointed when they saw that.

It was an ugly game against a bad team, but I'll take the win.

Can't, just seems way too incomprehensible. It's pathetic how fake steelers fans don't realize this. All I know is when the tide turn for Cleveland, I won't give any fake Browns fans the time of the day.

Batch has been reliable over the years but he was looking pretty shaky last night.

Not sure if they would've won without Ben.

The Browns never scored again, but maybe if the Steelers don't make some of those longer drives with Batch in there, the Browns could've had more chances.
