Red and Miyagi have the same avatar now. Anyone else find that a little odd? Are they dating or something?

It's OK if you are dating each other, there is nothing wrong with that.

Beast & Miyagi both are now using my avatar in yet another failed attempt at trolling me into submission.

I'm not wearing no dress, but I have always wanted to try those tennis shoes with the velcro straps and no shoe laces that Red wears.

Went to the Norwayne game with some friends last night. There's no reason to hash out the game. Norwayne dominated and got lazy and sloppy in the second half. I do think the fans have gotten very spoiled but there is a couple things that jumped out at me. I agree with Bobcat14's assessment of the coaches. This did not look like the staff from a team that just won a State Championship and was dominating in the first game of the year. The Offensive Coordinator acted like a fool. It's one thing that he's screaming like an idiot at some of the teams best players, but the ballboy....come on man. The guy was in full melt down and they were up by 40. Tell me this guys not feeling the pressure. I don't know who he is but he was very unprofessional last night. The coaches might want to start practicing special teams also. Does Norwayne ever just come out and kick the ball off? Well, that's enough. Other then that the Cats are a machine again.

Congrats to my Riders. I cant wait for next weeks home game on the turf.

2 different friends from Norwayne said the parents were in disbelief about this guy yelling at not only the players, but the ball boy especially. They said some people were talking about calling the school and complaining....some said he looked crazed stomping back and forth on the sideline yelling at everyone...lol. Little too intense IMO....lol

I made a mistake (see it does happen to the best of us) the Bell is 24 and 5. Miscounted wins and Northwestern did not let it in the first year so the loss does not count against the Bell.

Strangely, I didn't feel that bad about a 42-6 loss. I agree the bulldogs looked much improved compared to last year although their youth showed at times. Defensively, they played decent, especially in the first half. They often put garaway into 3rd or 4 th and long, only to give up a deep pass play. Garaway will be one of the best offensive teams they will face this year. The offense still has to find its identity. I thought it got very predictable - motion left pitch left, motion right pitch right. More short, quick passes are needed. Moyer ran like a workhorse although they were sitting there waiting on him. This team may be twice as good as last year and not win many more games. I spoke to a buddy of mine from garaway at the half and he was surprised by our toughness. The real turning point of this game was the punt return for td in the second half. 1 quarter ended 7-0 garaway. The pirates scored again in the 2nd. Dalton then drove deep in pirate territory, but a busted play and fumble squelched the drive. 14-0 at half. Garaway scored in the third, then returned a punt for td which really took the fight out. On to tuslaw for week 2.

"We showed our talent and potential in the first half," Norwayne coach Joe Harbour said, "but our (first teamers) got destroyed in the second half. Plain and simple ... we made the wrong reads, we ran the wrong routes, nobody blocked, we didn't tackle. They switched their defense up in the second half and we made no adjustments."

Isn't that the coaches job...to make adjustments to when the opponent changes things up?

I do think they are feeling the pressure and thats sad after 1 game. This team has talent. They scored every time they had the ball the first half(i think) and they still where acting like fools. Yes they did have a bad second half but they still won the game by 40 against a decent Wellington team. I know coaches get caught up with the game and want their team to be perfect but running around screaming on the side lines and acting like complete idiots is uncalled for. They want their players to act and look respectful but they cant do it themselves. Classles on the coaches part!!!!

Congrats to all wcal winners. Very impressed with the hillsdale win. What a great program coach williams has built. Seems like all they know how to do is win over in Jeromesville.
