As for Dalton you are absolutely right with 0-3 or 3-0 start. Garaway was a playoff team and loses some starters. I would favor Garaway slightly. Tuslaw and Timken are both "supposed" to be in the bottom half of the PAC so either could be a toss up. Best chance is Timken but the other two are not far behind. I would love to see a 2-1 start for the Dogs (But I would take 3-0 as well). :D

As the second most knowledgeable person on here regarding the PAC, I will state my opinion based solely on rumors.

1. Tuslaw is supposed to be rebounding this season. I have heard they are solid up front, and have decent speed in the skill positions. Could surprise a few teams this year.

2. Timken is always a mystery. They always look solid at the JV level and people have higher expectations for them, but something seems to happen at the varsity level. They usually have awesome speed and pretty good size, just never able to put it all together. One of these seasons though they will break through and shock the world.

I think I am going to take part in the Red Rum pick 'em business. Sounds like some fun.

i actually think garaway may be the toughest nonconference opponent for dalton. They didn't lose much and according to a buddy of mine down there - they are "loaded". Dalton - tuslaw just seems to be pretty good most years and like was said above, timken is always a coin toss. I am predicting a loss to garaway and a split with Tuslaw/Timken, although I can easily see 2-1. 3-0 is a stretch to me. (hopeI'm wrong there).

It made me laugh, Boss.

In honor of that, I'm going to change my Wayne County Mafia signature to WCM, like yours!

You basically made the same point that I made last year and everyone jumped all over me about it. It's not the coaching it's the talent. We just don't have the size nor the athletic ability to push people around. Of course I am sure of at least one poster who will want to fire the coach because the kids can't get the job done.

I still think it is a split personality. You have heard of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, we have Kilauea and Krakatoa!

Fiance and I will be there. We'll be the Triway fans with paper writing down numbers, clearing the cobwebs.

Smithville looked alright today. 1 score to 0 for the varsity. They gave up some yards on defense. They will be upper half of wcal.

I talked to a Norwayne buddy of mine a few minutes ago. He tells me that they didnt look great against Black River today but they held their own. He insists that they have a lot of work to do to be a playoff contender. He says he's not sure what all of the sudden hype is about with all of the losses Norwayne had to graduation.

If it would of been a real game the score would of been 42 to 7 Norwayne at half time and they never even Cow Butted, Bobcat Stalk!

I stated earlier that Bears had descent skill positions but were lacking size on the line. We just gotta get the kids outta the hallways and off Xbox. Those big boys are out there, I have seen them. Many wear Tapout shirts. lol

The backs were fun to watch, very quick. The Weaver kid playing QB is a good ball carrier also. He threw the ball scared, and without purpose or care in where it was going, or to whom it was going. Really has a long way to go to. Wouldn't be surprised if Stanley ended up back under center.

The line on both sides of the ball did little more than take up the space they were standing or laying in at any given time.
