Your first point isn't right because the ball is clearly behind the goal line when he pitched it while the player is standing on the goal line. Look at the still picture in the link. Look at where #7 is standing. Look at where the ball is when it is out of #7 hands.
Doesn't the ball have to croos the plane to be a TD?

You just don't get it do you? It was a forward pass. Incomplete and illegal. The spot of the foul is were he threw the ball from. The enforcement is 5 yards from that spot and loss of the right to replay the down (which does not apply due to change of possession). It would be LSU's ball, 1st and goal from the 5 1/2 yard line. Lets see, LSU total 9pts last time they played. And it took them until the 3rd qtr to get a first down vs Georgia. Saban has a month to prepare for this game. And you think LSU will win by 2 TD's?
