congrats on the win but only having 12 yards and 0 first downs in the first half is embarrassingcats gone wild;999755 wrote:4 or 5 pages ripping on LSU. And then its crickets. 42-10 fellas and undefeated. You guys always jump to conclusions early and LSU blows the teams out. Wait until the game is over before you make your stupid comments. You guys just wanna see LSU fail so bad and they have won 13 games this season. Must suck to be a fan of a team thats 6-6. Face it, LSU is #1 and has killed teams 11 out of 13 games.
If TM7 didnt get the fake Mary J suspension, he should of won Heisman. He is a game changer and a MVP.

42-10 and 13-0 and being in title game is real embarrassing. That's why they play 4 quarters, not 2.dazedconfused;999812 wrote:congrats on the win but only having 12 yards and 0 first downs in the first half is embarrassing

Ask the guy with a buck/flag in his avatar. He has a good idea of what it feels like.LJ;999842 wrote:How does it feel to be a giant vagina?

Does it being a forward pass make sense to you now? Bizarre and very unusual play.superman;999937 wrote:I was saying it was a fumble.

Honestly, no. If a player running with the ball loses control of it, its a fumble. What am I missing?Sonofanump;999952 wrote:Does it being a forward pass make sense to you now? Bizarre and very unusual play.

When a player with a ball tosses the ball forward (towards his own goal line) it is a forward pass.superman;1000023 wrote:Honestly, no. If a player running with the ball loses control of it, its a fumble. What am I missing?

So, the official has to make a judgement call whether it was a toss or a fumble?Sonofanump;1000273 wrote:When a player with a ball tosses the ball forward (towards his own goal line) it is a forward pass.

You really don't know the difference between "losing control" and willingly tossing the ball?superman;1000295 wrote:So, the official has to make a judgement call whether it was a toss or a fumble?

Not a hard call here as far a judgement is concerned. No other players around and he extends his arms towards the official.superman;1000295 wrote:So, the official has to make a judgement call whether it was a toss or a fumble?

I still think it was backwards as the picture shows, either way it should not have been a TD (that is for sure) and the way Georgia was stuffing LSU in the 1st half who knows if they would have scored.

The official caught the ball standing directly on the goal line.Skyhook79;1000320 wrote:I still think it was backwards as the picture shows, either way it should not have been a TD (that is for sure) and the way Georgia was stuffing LSU in the 1st half who knows if they would have scored.
1) So either the player pitched the ball backwards after crossing the goal line.
or
2) The player pitched the ball forward from the field of play.
So it is either 1) a TD or 2) an illegal forward pass out of bounds, 1&G from the 5.5 yard line.

Easy call in this case, but I could see where there could be close calls. Thanks for the explanation.Sonofanump;1000312 wrote:Not a hard call here as far a judgement is concerned. No other players around and he extends his arms towards the official.

Yes. I was just asking some clarifying questions from our resident head official.enigmaax;1000303 wrote:You really don't know the difference between "losing control" and willingly tossing the ball?
