He graduates in December and would be eligable next year... this loophole needs changed. Good thing he sucks. Wisonsin needs to recruit their own QBs.

It says nothing of him going to Wisconsin....only uses Wisconsin as an example of the loophole of which you speak...

I hope he does go somewhere where he can play. He got a raw deal this year from Kelly.

Raw deal? At least he still alive, and Kelly didn't kill him.

what I meant by raw deal was Crist had too much to drink one night, woke up the next morning with shortness of breath and chest pains. Kelly wouldn't let him get an MRI.

My money is on UCLA.

The loophole does not need to be changed. If anything it rewards those who apply themselves in the classroom. Notre Dame has graduates play at other schools fairly often. One guy currently starts at Tulsa and the other went to Florida for this season too, though I'm not sure if he's starting or not.

I thought about that but with them going through a coaching change I'm not sure how likely it would be. Might be good for him to play close to home but I don't know what their QB situation is.

just going off your track record lately on here, I'd say he is looking at an All American season next year at one of those 2 schools.

A Notre Dame QB would excel at Wisconsin since he would simply turn around and hand the ball to the RB, and wouldn't be trusted to put the ball in the air.

Sounds like Tressel ball, doesn't it? Maybe Crist can play for him at Akron! What do your sources think about that?

If players getting degrees before they run out of eligibility is a loophole, the world of college football could use more loopholes.

go ahead and quote me on where I said Tressel was going to be the coach at Akron..oh yeah, you cant. Putting words into other people's mouth, typical OC way.

Interesting...

What about Washington State now that Mike Leach is out there? He probably needs a QB. I am assuming the current one is garbage.

I think they played three qb's this year because of injury. Starter might have been out for a while but I have no clue if any of them were any good.

Just because lotz can't prove you actually said it, doesn't mean you never said it and thus popular opinion thinks you said it.
