Maybe 13 is a stretch. Maybe not. He will get every opportunity this year, and all they will ask him to do is defend and rebound. Physically, he should be an elite rebounder. That's a good point. But Kaman averaged 7 last year, so from that position they got 14. Keep in mind Kaman missed a ton of time. What did each average when they played together? I dont even know if that stat exists. But Jordan had some monster games (like pushing 20 boards IIRC) when Kaman was out. But then he also provided us with some duds. I think he is pretty good and a very good rebounder. Did you watch CP3 play last season? Reputation is one thing, but after watching him play last season I'd say an avg defender fits the bill. I would wager that to be part of his knee issue, first few yrs in the league he was def a solid defender.
