I've seen many variations of the phrase "thumping your chest" on here lately and it makes me want to throw my wife down the stairs. Not sure why. /coolstory

So, what phrases drive you crazy?

Pretty much everything you say.

I fixed mine for you, whiner.

"Hope this helps" is the most outplayed phrase on here.

Also, I hate the buzzwords and acronyms used in the corporate world. Two of the main reasons I left my job at a big company to work for a small agency.

I also hate when women say "I have mace" when I'm just trying to start a friendly conversation.

Any phrase misusing "literally". I'm quite sure your head did not literally explode. I wish it had, but it didn't.

"I will eat it cold". That's BS. Everyone knows it's always better re-heated in a skillet on a stove.

It is what it is.
Body of work. - Sometime in the past 3-5 years, this phrase (which used to be confined to the world of art) spilled into the sports venacular.
No question about it.

Lol I recently dropped the chest thumping line.

I am not a fan of people using derp (I guiltily admit I used it once), especially when they are teachers. Also not a fan of any huddle phrases. Always thought they were idiotic and well played out.

Or when people say "no offense," but then go on to say something offensive. It's a pussy cop out.
