I agree that the name "Bowden" will resonate with recruits more than Frank Solich, especially outside of Ohio. Also, Bowden has been pretty damn successful at all his coaching stops.

Not that i'm saying you're wrong, because I don't really know...but Solich gets a lot of good recruits out of state.

no doubt. I dont think anybody is saying he doesn't do a good job/have a name.

Bowden is a name associated with the winningest football coach of all time that doesn't have a * next to their name.
