I haven't had a game system in awhile. I've always "had" a PS3, but have a 5 year old and was wondering which could be most fun for, not only me, but for her too.
What seems to be the better motion game? I am bias on the PS3 for gaming but I know she doesn't know how to work the controls so I'm interested in what's the best system for motion detection or whatever.
Thanks!

If you already have a PS3, get the move.

Lol. Sorry, I kinda skimmed through the post and saw "I always had a PS3".
You coulda got either one very cheap during the Thanksgiving/black Friday sales. PS3's and 360's were going for $150-$199.

The Kinect doesn't require a remote correct just body movement? If so, that'd be easier for your daughter.
I know the PS3 Move is basically the Wii for PS3; or at least that's how it seems.

I believe the Move has a wider range of games. It also supports games such as Killzone, Resistance, etc..
The move has better motion capture than the Wii does, and is actually cheaper than the Kinect I believe.
Kinect doesn't require a controller, but the complaints I see/hear are too many generic games, much like the Wii.
Honestly, if it's just for your daughter, just get a Wii. There are several kids games for that system.
I know kids like "holding things" as well, as it keeps their interest. If you just standing there moving in front of a TV, she may lose interest after awhile.
I don't know.. My daughter is only 19 months, so I can't really say.
