VMI is 3-1. They lost 75-65 to Air Force. They beat Citadel, UMBC and something called Alice Lloyd. They beat that bitch good.

They have score 100+ in two of four games and 84 in a third, so this game could be more entertaining than the past two crushings. Not likely to be any suspense, but at least more entertaining.

VMI has led the NCAA in scoring the last 5 years. If nothing else, they aren't going to come into Value City Arena and try to slow it down like some non-conference teams will do. I'd expect the Bucks to get 90+ tonight.

It should be fun watching Spoon and Thompson playing in this kind of game. Could be some big time highlight dunks!

Oh, I forgot to mention this, guys. But if Ohio State wins, they're 3-0 when I start the thread! :D

First Jackson State, then North Florida and now, hopefully VMI! I know, pure luck on my part, but it's a good streak!

The info from Insight:
"The Buckeyes feature a highly-rated freshman class, including guards Daequan Cook and Mike Conley. Reggie Williams(19 ppg in 2005-06) leads the Keydets."

Well the NBA is in a lockout so Conley and Cook are actually re-entering school as Freshmen again... DUH!

That was pretty for sure. But Willy B's finish was prettier.

VMI looks like that group of dudes who ALWAYS plays together at the park. No fluidity, just go out there and play.

Agreed. I'd like to see Amir Williams continue to develop as well. Can never have enough good height inside, especially when it helps spell your best player for periods of time.
