Let him be proud of his Alma Matter before they sign 33 new guys and tell 10 existing players that they are no longer are on scholarship.

I think it's time that someone gets the "sleeper ND treatment" for all OSU threads--this has gotten ridiculous. :(

Do you really believe that?

You beat Oregon, who now has 2 losses, including to USC.

What other top 10 teams outside of Alabama has LSU beat?

Surely, you're not talking about WVU? LMAO.

Arkansas, the same team OSU beat last season, will beat LSU.

Also, you're speaking like Tennessee is some powerhouse now. UT sucks. UNC is probably, arguably, a better team than they are.
LSU beat Oregon and Bama. TWO top ten. If they beat Ark and Bama again...that = 4 wins vs. top 10 teams (if they win them). Learn how to read the post you quoted.
You bring up Ark, the team OSU beat last year. Whats that got to do with anything. Ark is good this year while OSU is horrible. Teams are different.
And 8 years down the road, UT will be better than KSU, YSU, Akron, BGSU (the teams that OSU will schedule instead). Common sense facts.

Also, you find me a schedule in the BCS era that compares to LSU's schedule and actually winning them all.

LSU notable wins

Oregon - Lost to USC, a team who lost to Arizona State

West Virginia - Lost to Syracuse, speaks for itself

Auburn - lol

Alabama - The worst game in college football all year. Set offenses back 25 years. Should have lost minus the fact that Alabama forgot to recruit a kicker.

Impressive

OSU in 2002 beat 5 top 19 teams during the season.

4 of those were either in the top 10 or finished top 10 after the year.

Miami was the consensus #1 heading into that game and looked unbeatable.

PSU finished the regular season ranked 10th

Michigan was ranked 12th and 9th in the two polls respectively when OSU met them with everything on the line.

Washington St finished ranked 7th in the regular season and was ranked 10th when OSU played and beat them.

Again, you're an idiot. I don't normally bother with your idiotic troll baiting, but you have been ridiculous in this thread.

You continue to point out OSU playing MAC teams, again, LSU played Northwestern St this year! Seriously, get a fucking clue. Obviously YOU don't understand football.

Just a question. Why does Ohio state always schedule schools like Kent and Akron (Ohio schools) for football but not basketball? they have played teams like north Florida so why not BG or someone in the MAC?

It might be that the MAC schools themselves are bringing in lesser schools to their facilities.

From what I remember (I could be wrong) but the whole playing of OOC against Ohio teams in football was started by Tressel in order to keep the revenue in state, also boosts recruiting in state and helps to keep the talent here as opposed to elsewhere. I don't see that as quite an issue regarding hoops as numbers are smaller.

...and let's face it, it's been proven countless times that playing a murderers row of OCC games simply isn't necessary. You lose one game and you're out of the title game in most cases. OSU plays one solid OOC game, that's more than many and frankly a risk that doesn't need to be taken. I see no reason whatsoever to apologize for anything in regard to how we schedule. You can't win the 'ship if you're not in the game. Period.

To put more facts your way since you are clueless
OSU played a total of 4 ranked teams at the time in 2002, 3 of those being in the top 10. LSU will be playing 9 (NINE) teams that were ranked at game time, 4 in the top 10 including #2, #3, #3, and #2. (toughest schedule ever in BCS era football) Even in 2007 LSU played a more brutal schedule than the 02 Bucks. LSU played 8 ranked teams that year.

You make a jab at us playing Northwestern St. Wow, good job pointing out one team. Every team plays some cupcakes, but not every team goes out and schedules Ore and WVU for OOC. Comparing OSU's and LSU's OOC schedule is laugable

ORE >>> Miami
WVU>>> Colorado
W. KY= Akron
NW St< Toledo

Again, dont let facts get in the way. BTW, who has OSU beaten this year thats worth anything? Who have they gotten beat by? Purdue of all teams ROGL!!!! And, yes I mean and........OSU hasnt even played a top 10 team all year and only 5 ranked teams.

LSU's 2011 schedule, and add SEC title game and possible BCS title game.

Arkansas is not a top ten team. I don't care what you say there not that good. The only good team they have played has been bama and they got smoked. Wvu is trash. So basically lsu has only played Oregon and bama that's worth a damn. So get the fuck out of here with your toughest schedule ever bullshit. And the sad thing is i hate Ohio st. And you are making your self look like an idiot.

Could be and they prolly don't get paid anything if they were to travel to cbus. I just find it strange that north Florida comes all the way up here to get blown out when there are plenty of schools up her that would be a better challenge and much closer.
