I bet he wins a race before Jr. wins another one. :D

haha! Junior will have a much better year, this upcoming season. He can't get on any better of a team.
This next season will be his best ever.

Then in a few years it'll be on a downward spiral once he leaves Hendricks, unless Tony hires him.

goin' way out on a limb-
Tony, Danica and Jr here in a few years at Stewart-Haas.

Jr. fans are just like Notre Dame fans. "We'll be better next year!" Year after year. Same result. No wins.

/sleeper'd.

Of course, I get it with coyote as he IS a ND fan, so it's understandable. :)

He won't be leaving Hendricks. He's too much of a cash cow for Rick.

So he'll blow half as many engines? Hey, it's progress.

Eh, he did only have 2 DNF's last year. Not too bad. But, he only led like a whopping total of 50 some laps all year combined. His worse ever.

I still think he'll sneak into the top-10 this year. May again be one of those seasons which comes down to the final race, making the chase or not.

I have no doubt that he will finish in the top 10. He finished 7th this year.

Shootout practice coming on soon. Speed channel.

With the ecu technology now being handled by a computer on the sprint cars, will crew chiefs be able to "flash" the ecu system before/during the race and play with fuel mileage?

Lol...Stewart gets Kurt loose in practice, Kurt spins and takes out Stewart and both Penske cars. They will be in back ups.

Chad Knaus faces suspension after illegal parts were confiscated from the #48 team.

Chris Myers will be replaced in the FOX broadcast by John Roberts after Myers' 19 year old son was killed in a car crash.

I'm not sure, but I doubt NASCAR lets them change anything like that during a race though.

(edit) Found this article- Pretty good read.
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/motor/nascar/story/2012-02-06/NASCAR-moves-into-fuel-injection-era/52992198/1

"That is exponentially more information than the crew chiefs, drivers and crews have had — ever," said Lee White, president of Toyota Racing Development."I could easily see Jimmie Johnson coming into the garage, and the data gets (transmitted) over to his iPad, and he sits there with his iPad on his steering wheel looking at data, with his numbers laid over (teammates) Jeff (Gordon) and (Dale Earnhardt Jr.) and Kasey Kahne. He's never had that.
"It's always been the 5 inches between his ears and his ability to communicate that to his crew chief. Now (the data) shows, 'You're going back to the throttle here, and Jeff's 4 feet earlier, and Junior's 4 feet later. They've never had that precise level of information to work with before. I think we're looking at a new era, because the driver has always been the computer, and some had communication skills and some didn't. Now you have a real practical tool, and the people who learn to use it quickest and best are going to show."

Since he's a repeat (and then some) offender, NASCAR may make one hell of an example of him.

What a race. Let's hope the 500 is this good! Kyle with 2 incredible saves and wins by a bumper. Awesome.

They weren't the 500 cars though. Finch told him to not worry about bringing them back in one piece. Lol It was good seeing him being competitive though.

I think it's awesome how everyone hates Kyle. He's easily one of the best drivers out there and everbody hates him.

Tony is considered my driver but I like Kyle. That said, his older bro' Kurt is a prick.

I'd rather Kyle be out of the box with his comments (and driving) then like Kurt and his totally fake act for the sponsors.

That was a pretty bad one though with him sliding on the drivers side of the car for that long. I will agree with your last sentence though. :D

Roush Fenway sitting on the front row for the 500. Edwards grabs the pole and Biff will start 2nd. Rest of the field will be set Thursday at 1 pm when the Gatorade Duels take place.

Stewart wins Duel 1, Danica with a hard hit into the wall. That was probably her 'Welcome To NASCAR' moment. :D

And yes, I'm pulling for Kenny to make it.

Kenseth wins Duel 2. Kenny didn't make it. Blaney (Hometown boy), Nemechek, McDowell, and Gordon raced their way into the 500.

Kenny's car sucked. Couldn't even keep up with the draft.

I want Robbie Gordon to win Daytona. Won't happen but I'd love to see it.
