Allmendinger is in the #60 pictured above. He is also racing WKA go karts after Christmas like last year. He was 6th at the PRI Red Bull Kart fight in Orlando last month.

He said fuck Penske and signed with Hendricks. Then he bought out Hendricks, so now he's an owner/operator.

Kurt Busch signs with Phoenix Racing and James Finch to drive the #51 for next year. Will be in Hendrick equipment so this may not be a bad gig for him...

Kyle, at the request of the sponsors and JGR, may not drive in the Truck series at all next year. A slim possibility he doesn't drive in Nationwide either, pending sponsor negotiations.

Even though he signed with Phoenix, Kurt is still expected to drive for Kyle in the Nationwide Series and race for the Nationwide Championship instead of a Cup Championship.

Aric Almirola will drive the #43 car for Richard Petty Motorsports.

David Reuitimann will join Tommy Baldwin Racing alongside Dave Blaney. They are still seeking sponsors for both drivers though.

Awesome day at the track. Tomorrow will be even better. I'm surprised more Nascar drivers aren't in the 50th 24 Hours of Daytona. Champion drivers from all over the world are here this weekend. Its all free for ticket holders, or $15 a day.
There is also what looks like a couple thousand boy scout troops camping tonight and tomorrow night in the infield. Pretty nice deal for the kids to enjoy a weekend. 70 and sunny too.

So I'm walking along taking pics of cars right after the practice session, they are all just into the garage. I have a new hat and just by chance, there is Patrick Dempsey coming out of his garage. I carry a sharpie and just by stroke of luck right place right time he signs it. I didn't even ask. I thanked him, said get another podium. He said thanks and told me have a good night. I don't know if I should ebay it or get more autographs on it.
