A lot of the ESPN guys are predicting a HUGE Carolina win. I really don't see it happening.Tiger2003;995493 wrote:Wisconsin allowing 39.2 ppg this season. You can tell they have played nobody. I'll take Carolina getting to that before HT.

I do. I'm taking Carolina by 15-20.

I'm pretty worried, actually. I expect Carolina to play much better than they did in Vegas, but Wisconsin can really shoot it from deep. If they start nailing threes, this could be a very close game. Hopefully the Heels will come out and take it to them though.wildcats20;995500 wrote:A lot of the ESPN guys are predicting a HUGE Carolina win. I really don't see it happening.

Well if Sparty wins, the Big Ten wins the challenge for the 3rd straight year after losing the first 10.

Welp looks like the challenge will be over with this Sparty win.

Good win for Indiana. First time I've seen them this year. Impressed with the performance. Zeller is a solid, solid player for a freshman.
Penn State up too. Looks like I'll be 0 for 2 so far in the games I thought were toss ups.
I think UNC might beat Wisconsin by 15-20 as well. If Jordan Taylor doesn't step his shit up and drop about 25 tonight it's going to be rough going for the Badgers.

Actually, that's a really big win for IU.Midstate01;995512 wrote:Good to see IU win but wow. Did they just win the national title. Lol
I have seen some small school high school teams that could beat the last couple IU teams.

If MSU can hang on, looks like the Big 10 is going to wrap this up.
Good win for Indiana. Penn State-BC...whatever.

Pretty sure I just heard Dan Dakich call Indiana the best team in the big ten.

I understand that. I don't have a problem with it. Just thought they were celebrating a bit much. Throwing the ball in the air and stuff.

I get what you are saying, but that game LITERALLY might be the difference between NIT and NCAA this year. It has been the single most circled game for the Hoosiers since the schedule was released. UK we give as an L. This was the true road game, versus a fellow bubble team that would decide a LOT.Midstate01;995512 wrote:Good to see IU win but wow. Did they just win the national title. Lol
Plus...for fucks sake, we have sucked for 3 years. We are 7-0 and 2-0 in TRUE road games. It feels unreal. Holy fuck, I need a rum and coke.
Also, Verdell Jones could break his ankle and I wouldnt care.

I didn't actually see it, I had flipped over to another game. Yeah, I agree with ya now that you said that.

From what I've seen, 3rd isn't out of the equation...who after OSU and WISKY is clearly better? Every other possible "contender" has stumbled. MSU, Purdue, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Northwestern, etc...robj55;995519 wrote:Pretty sure I just heard Dan Dakich call Indiana the best team in the big ten.
Nebraska is another team who is underrated. Picked anywhere from 7th to 10th, they can definitely contend for an NCAA bid. Iowa and Penn State are clearly 11 and 12, but the top 10 makes it wide open, especially 3-10. Literally it could be 2 games separating 8 teams in the standings.

I didnt hear him. But on his show, he said if things go right they could be the best team in the Big Ten (behind OSU and Wisky). I dont really buy it, but they are a hell of a lot more talented and better than people think.robj55;995519 wrote:Pretty sure I just heard Dan Dakich call Indiana the best team in the big ten.

We'll see when UK comes to town. That will be a good measuring stick on how good the talent is really coming together.

3 straight for the Big 10! Nice.
Next year will be weird as hell. With Syracuse and Pitt the ACC should probably kill us.

BTW AZ. While I doubt IU can hang with UK for more than a half, it should be an UNREAL atmospher when #1 UK comes to Bloomington next weekend. IU will be 8-0 by then, and possibly in the top 25. UK will be #1 if they beat UNC this weekend. Should be fun (for a half at least lol).

We'll see. If UK loses to UNC, I'd be surprised if IU stayed close. They will have a week to adjust and to handle their first home loss under Calipari. However, IU has played UK tough a few times when they shouldn't have. The 2009 game was way closer than the talent said it should be.
