Don't know why this continues to be an issue. Somebody proves it every year, a large payroll doesn't always add up to victories. Look at what Tampa Bay has been able to do and Florida, Minnesota, and Oakland before them
And look at the Yankees being in the race every year. It doesnt guarantee championships, but NYY will be there in the end every year, small market teams can make a splash for like a 3-4 year period and then they die again.

Those are top notch. Easily a top 5 uniform in the league.

Much better than what they had. Would love to see an old school type hat (blue back, white front). But still good

Orioles also went throwback and Mets dropped black from their unis

Those unis are solid. The blue ones are especially sharp.

Reds get:
Bautista
Yunel Escobar

Blue Jays get:
Votto
Yasmani Grandal
Chris Heisey
Homer Bailey

I think the Blue Jays would be stupid to not do that... and then the Reds could set their team up like this:

3B - Bautista
SS- Escobar
2B - Phillips
1B - Alonso
LF - open (I'd take a flier on Sizemore)
CF - Stubbs
RF - Bruce
C - Hanigan and Mesoraco

(that's not my lineup. Just how the positions would line up)

I don't think it is official yet, but it does appear he is headed back to Cleveland

I'd put Bautista in LF and let Rolen, Frazier, and Cairo all rotate at 3B.

I kind of like the changes in that it keeps teams in it longer with the extra wild card team, and it also places a greater emphasis on making teams try to win their division to avoid the 1 game playoff.

As it should be, being a wild card team now will really be a disadvantage in that you will have to win that extra game, and burn your number 1 starter just to get to the playoffs. Before, winning the wild card was really no different than being a division winner.

Since 1995 that's been the only year. Still, its not EVERY year as people have posted.

By the way the Jays jerseys look sweet. Nice to see the old school Jay show back up

WOW. Did you really just take people literally with their EVERY YEAR and come back with once in the last 17???? That is the most ridiculous argument I think I have ever seen.
