You think the Jags are going to score a couple of TD's with their defense? I see this game being more like a 13-9 or 10-9 affair. Browns defense isn't that bad and the Jags offense is DEFINITELY not that good.

I think MJD will get 2 TDs and then they will ethier get a defensive one off an INT or the Browns secondary will blow a coverage and they get a passing one.

You DO realize that the only reason the pass D is #1 is a) teams don't NEED to pass on them when they have the 30th ranked rush D and b) they have faced a slew of shitty QB's?

That being said, part b applies to Gabbert. Part a & MJD could be a problem. Teams are stacking 8 in the box on him and he's still averaging over 90 ypg on the ground.

yeah i realize that, still doesn't take away that we have the number 1 ranked pass defense. and we just so happen to face a shitty qb this week too, so i see that trend to continue.

Durkie just for you if they Jags don't get a passing TD this week I'll support a Browns avatar from the end of the game till Thanksgiving day. If they do get one then we can just laugh at the fact that the pathetic Gabbert somehow got a TD.

I called a 16-12 loss last week...missed it by a FG.

This week I'm going with a 20-13 browns win....that's 2 Browns TDs. One on a return and 1 by the defense. We know the offense don't get em.

I predict if you don't bet the UNDER In this game (it opened at 31.5) you are a FOOL!

As for the game, another week of me looking at the TV and just shaking my head in disbelief. We have INVENTED ways to lose games....

I don't agree. Try to get a winning streak and take some momentum going into next season.

Momentum, moschmentum....that really worked for Mangini when he rode the Ghost to a 4 game winning streak to end that one season. What happened the next? Fell on their face, AGAIN, coming out of the gate. Season ending "momentum" doesn't exist going into the following season.

Tell that to the Lions, Bills, Bengals, and Raiders this season. Just because it didn't work out for idiot womangini one season doesn't mean it won't work the next time. This team is never going to win if they don't learn how to win. I hope they give it their all and find ways to win. That confidence can go a long way next year and following years.

They could lose every game the rest of this season, but unless someone gets them playmakers on offense and an actual scheme, we will never do shit.

Because they are building through the draft, and I think have some pieces in place, Id like to see the Browns win and build themselves up. That said, 1 more high draft pick wouldnt hurt :D

Not implying that I want them to lose but the "momentum" thing is flawed. Completely different seasons.

Cleveland has to win again at some point. I'm calling for the upset here. Browns win.

All those teams have TALENT though. The Browns best offensive playmaker is a rookie WR.

You acquire talent like AJ Green, Calvin Johnson, Suh, etc, by picking early.

I root for the Browns to lose and the Falcons to lose. But upsetting Pittspuke would give me a woody...especially if we knocked them out of the playoffs.

Agreed. i never want my team 2 lose(ok maybe if its the last game of the season and it will get them a better pick) I think if Colt can have a couple pretty good games and if the Browns are even somewhat competent on O it would be a boost(maybe not a big one but something they can hang their hats on after the shit theyve done so far) If the Browns score 2 offensive tds in this game(hell even if its a loss) it will be a step in the right direction.

Eh I wouldn't say the Bills have talent(still better talent than the Browns but its not like that is hard) just a lot of average to slightly above average guys who all play well together. But I agree with the rest of your post. You build in the draft by picking early but also picking the right guys for your team.

Bills still suck. So that example is bad anyway. They will be finishing out of the playoffs.
