Does anybody have any photos of Coach Doug Davault? I need one for an article, but cannot find anything online. Thanks! (preferably horizontal orientation, and 460x300 or larger so I can crop)

Probably just going to be a head shot....hopefully that will satisfy your pixel requirement.

Sorry, just figured the more people I could ask the better. I have received 1 picture - a black-and-white portrait yearbook photo. It'll work if it has to, but I'm still looking. Anything you or anyone else can find would be greatly appreciated! (and thanks to the person who already sent me 1 photo)RedRider1;1241142 wrote:I said I'd get you one.

Does someone on the turf committee know if we will have our Minerva scrimmage at home or is the track still curing?

As of right now, the plan is to have the Minerva scrimmage on the turf (Saturday, 10am). The turf and track will be off-limits to the spectators however. All fans must sit in the bleachers.REDRIDER555;1241580 wrote:Does someone on the turf committee know if we will have our Minerva scrimmage at home or is the track still curing?
Track work should be finishing up in the next few days. The striping of the track will not be done right away from what I'm hearing. No real need for it until spring time, but guessing it will probably be done before winter.

I hope you guys enjoy my interview with Coach Davault. And thanks to those who helped by sending photos. I believe it was Riderpower that had the perfect photograph to match Coach's attitude and the spirit of the article.

How is the health of the team? Scrimmage coming up are there anybody who will be out or are we going in full strenght to see what this team is all about? Will the scrimmage be on the field?

Heard the track guys got rained out yesterday with about an hours worth of work left...rain today will keep them away.
Not sure how this affects having the scrimmage on the turf, will find out and report back.

Then it should be a walk in the park as the Riders have Marine recruits on the field this year!Brutus;1243739 wrote:minerva will be very tuff again this year led by riley. he is an airforce recruit.

Scrimmage is still set for tomorrow on the turf. Since the track crew have work left to do, the ring of plastic sheeting around the border of the track/turf will still be in place. Not ideal, but they want to start using the field.
Starts at 10am...admission is the classic "bar of soap for the locker rooms"
Soccer will practice on the field tonight at 7pm.
VASCO will be back to finish the track, weather permitting, on Sunday from what I'm hearing. Has to be completely dry for them to finish their work.

Congrats to the captains!
I'm looking forward to going to the scrimmage today, see the stadium/field in person for the first time, and see these young kids step up and make some plays today!
Go Riders!!

Pretty impressed going away from our first scrimmage...
A lot of dropped balls by receivers but that is an easy fix. I think Bryce is going to fill the void of turner...kid makes it look really easy and is elusive! Need to work on the run game but that will come with practice.

Overall I thought we looked good. A lot of speed. Very small up front but the speed makes up for it. Lichti had great accuracy on his throws it was just some kids had a hard time catching it. They need to create plays to get Short the ball the kid can fly. Nice job Riders
