I don't who would be better at this point to be honest. If Devin had a whole week as the number 1 i think he would really surprise some people with what he can do. It is hard to get a good idea of what a kid can do when he is on and off the field every 45 mins and take 1 or 2 snaps. I wouldn't be shocked to see Devin as the starter next season.

Now that being said does anyone know about denard's redshirt status. everything I have read shows he will get a read shirt for his freshmen year and should be able to play 2 more years after this year. am I wrong?

Pretty solid half. Denard isn't used to the speed of these LBs and DEs, I think that's why he's not quite sure what to do. He's still getting positive yards. I'd like to see some 2nd and short passes though, Nebraska is really crowding the box.

Its not just this week, hes looked indecisive non stop outside the pocket this entire year. Either be a runner or try to pass, youc ant be in between
