The fact that Joe Paterno will never coach or represent Penn State in an official capacity ever again is almost more than I can wrap my mind around. I always figured that JoePa would either have a "fairway tour" by announcing his retirement before a season began, give us an off season to adjust to him announcing he was done after a season, or that he would die during a season. I never thought that he would be fired on a Wednesday night in November amidst scandal.

This Saturday and the following Saturday when Penn State plays in Columbus will be the two most surreal days of college football in my lifetime.

It depends on what the BoT knows. JoePa could be facing criminal charges.

How much did he know about the '98 investigation?

There is a lot more that will come out of this, and it likely won't be good for Paterno.
