Be there for the kids and try to change their paths. My husband has two crappy brothers who have two shitty wives and nothing we can do will ever change them. I tell my husband to be thankful that for whatever reason, he is nothing like them. But through several family members, our oldest nephew is about to graduate and go to college. Had his extended family not been around, I'm guessing he'd be a barely working mooch like his parents. So hang in there. Don't beat yourself up over your sister and be involved with the kids. Nothing more you can do.

He ain't gonna do anything for those kids. He's all about him. It's easy to sit back and preach about how other people don't raise their kids right. So he has a job. Big deal.

You should tell her to seek jesus christ. While he may not answer her nor will he give any sort of real advice, she can at least read a book concerning his stories. Plus, if you haven't already, make sure to pray about this. If you keep your thoughts in your head, they most surely will help her like skyhook said. Pray that hoe away.

Interesting picture and caption. But I wonder why you don't post pictures of all the other work Christian organizations (like Christian Aid,World vision and Samaritan purse to name a few) do in Haiti?

I just collected a few praying mantises, put them in a box and sent them to Haiti. That should be enough prayer power to keep those poor bastards safe from whatever punishment god's giving them that they need prayer for salvation from.
