Also surprised Hawthorne Heights hasn't been mentioned.

Was just going to mention them. I don't know much about them other than the fact that they are from Cincinnati and have some association with the White Stripes or Racountuers.

Haha I never said they were good. Just figured someone would mentioned them. I don't think their earlier stuff was that bad but pretty much everything since 2006 has sucked.

And "Sloopy" was about a girl named Dorothy Sloop who was from Steubenville and went to Big Red.

Guess I should have read the first post where he asked for Best from Ohio lol. I don't think their earlier stuff was that bad but pretty much anything since 2006 has been terrible. Maybe we can call them the best Emo band haha.

I didn't know they had an association with those bands. Wonder if they toured together or something. I think they're a solid band, nothing amazing but solid.

No, they are still bad within the emo genre.

I even verified this in person earlier this year when some of my friends opened for them. It was awful but was bearable with liberal amounts of PBR and Great Lakes.

Reliant K. They were very popular in the early 2000s.

Probably still are among groups of middle schoolers.

I just looked it up. Two members of The Greenhornes are in the Raconteurs. Jack White is also in the Raconteurs.

Well thats interesting. I actually like that song quite a bit more than the album version. That girl really adds something to the song I think.

I've been a fan of Old Enough since it came out. I also like Ashley Monroe who's the girl in the polka-dot dress. She just joined Miranda Lamberts new group.

Did ya google or are you a fan? He's been called the Jimi Hendrix of the dobro. Pretty much the best dobro player in the world.

Fan of the genre in general and of Allison Krauss in particular.
