LOL at Lotz spinning Neal in a positive light, so if he goes to ND he is OK with it. No one here cares, we are over it.

Horrible perspective by you if you think that was said in a literal sense.karen lotz;1079695 wrote:Why do you believe that? You honestly think he was denied because his last step was out of bounds? Horrible job recruiting him then if Meyer and Co were visiting him the week before signing day.

I'm not spinning anything. Read back a few pages, every OSU fan on here was all over him for the past few weeks. I merely mentioned that someone other than Ohio State and Arizona would be a factor in his recruitment (didn't mention Notre Dame at all) and was laughed at. Everyone pointed to the insider from Arizona that had "ties" that said he'd be at OSU. No mention of any trouble until signing day. Who is spinning things? I'd say a lot of people care and very few of them are over it.

Why make a comment like that about a recruit at all? Seems like someone was a little butt hurt, similar to Les Miles.

Because he was asked about it? Plus, how is that butt hurt? He was asked what happened, he told without totally throwing the kid under the bus.karen lotz;1079711 wrote:Why make a comment like that about a recruit at all? Seems like someone was a little butt hurt, similar to Les Miles.

Ever since your "I will care when a recruit's parents see's BK's sideline antics in a negative light"
then
ThenJohn Beckham decided he didn’t want Dorial to play at one school after he saw a coach slam a headset at the end of the game instead of simply handing it to a waiting assistant.
The coach was Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly, Tracy Beckham said.

All I said is that the reports I read were of Meyer denying the commitment, and not the other way around. I'm not in Meyers' inner circle, so I have no idea what his reasoning was, but he's the man, so it is what it is.karen lotz;1079695 wrote:Why do you believe that? Not QQ'ing at all. You dislike facts, which I understand.
You want tears? How about you shed some tears over Thomas Robinson's whore of a mom? Where can I order a "No mom Tom" t shirt? That has as much relevance to this thread as what you just quoted.

Question though..do you think the ND staff called Neal over his dead cousin because they're trying to prove to the world that ND does in fact care about dead kids?

How do you know all this? Was ND recruiting him also?karen lotz;1079689 wrote:The family had said the entire time that they were taking the week off from recruiting last week so they could figure out, among other things, his last official. Never had any plans of committing before the 10th. They talked to zero coaches last week except when Notre Dame called to see how they were doing with regards to Neal's cousin's accident. Their story hasn't changed since December. But go ahead and believe your 100% source.

His cousin wasn't dead last week when they called. She died yesterday. Poor attempt at being sleeper by you.

Especially after crying your eyes out over OSU fans on the ND thread...when, here you are, on the OSU thread.
And lol @ "poor attempt at being sleeper by you" you just called a dude's mom a whore and supported the "no mom tom" t-shirts" yeah, hilarious!

Not sure if this is a serious question or not, but I'll take it as so. Yes Notre Dame was/is recruiting him. There have been updates since the end of his HS season. He visited in early December, and even then he and his dad both said that his recruitment would last a few weeks into February just because of how late they got started. He wanted to take all 5 of his visits and it wasn't possible with the holidays/all star games to get 5 in before NSD.

There is no question Urban pulled Neal's offer and no longer remains an interest of OSU. Whether he tried to commit or not is a different story.
Lots of conflicting "insider" info on Diggs. Don't really know what to think. I've heard people say OSU, Florida, Maryland and Auburn within the last 24-48 hours.

He is not winning me over. After Pryor i could give a shit less if kids like that come here. If he does pick us hopefully urban knock his ego down. Diggs does seem like he is trolling everybody on recruiting sites and I would say he is doing a good job of it.

It was serious. I knew ND was interested initially, but wasn't sure on the current status. I haven't been keeping up much with recruiting.karen lotz;1079773 wrote:Not sure if this is a serious question or not, but I'll take it as so. Yes Notre Dame was/is recruiting him. They are all a step above Neal.
That being said, we still have a shot at Diggs. Meyer has got these recruits before. This is definately a situation where Tressel wouldn't have gone all in. He only did for Pryor because he was on a different level talent wise as a recruit.

OSU stopped recruiting Neal after his visit, as they did with Diamond, for whatever reason. It's really all heresay as to whether he tried to commit, which I really don't think he did. We'll never know the whole story, but it's safe to say OSU saw something late in his recruitment that they didn't like.

Neal visited OSU the second week of January. Meyer and other coaches didn't visit him the Thursday before signing day, a day before the dead period started? Come on man.
