He'll be the Percy Harvin of Meyer's offense.wc expert;1059183 wrote:Jalin Marshall is unbelievable. I may have missed it while skipping over most of the recent posts, but what's he projected as at OSU? what speed that kid has.

Actually it kind of is since we are so thin at DB. The fact that they were 'bumped up" hopefully shows that they are more talented than originally thought to be (which would be a great thing since we are so thin). Might need to rely on some true freshman coming in and playing some minutes right away.xKoToVxSyNdRoMe;1059097 wrote:Not that its too important but Roger Lewis and Najee Murray were both upgraded to 4* on rivals

Perkins will easily be on the 2 deep and probably see PT. Unless they put him at LB which is possible.Scarlet_Buckeye;1059222 wrote:Actually it kind of is since we are so thin at DB. David Perkins? If he is on OSU's 2 deep in the secondary, its going to be a real long season for you guys.ytownfootball;1059233 wrote:Perkins will easily be on the 2 deep and probably see PT. Unless they put him at LB which is possible.

Interesting considering they had mostly Mac offers.Scarlet_Buckeye;1059222 wrote:Actually it kind of is since we are so thin at DB. Still no news on Williams and Reeves. The staff asks that those wanting to get updates on their visit don't try to contact them until the following day (Friday in this case). So unless they tweet something it's likely we won't hear news 'till then.

Both impressed at all star games. Lewis still has to make the grade though.

Yeah, they got in late and UFM wasn't in town (South Bend I think) so they didn't really start their visit until today.OneBuckeye;1059281 wrote:I don't think they got in till last night. They are still on their visit...

I think they were both right on the edge of 3/4 star also. Just surprising that their offer list wasn't better.Midstate01;1059279 wrote:Both impressed at all star games. Lewis still has to make the grade though.

Murray isn't.se-alum;1059226 wrote:Isn't Lewis a WR?
Lewis is a WR, but could potentially be moved to DB, although many do not expect him to move.

tbh, it's unclear if Lewis will even make the grades to get in at this point anyway so it may not matter.Scarlet_Buckeye;1059325 wrote:Murray isn't.

MAC kids aren't usually 4* because they go to the MAC. That doesn't mean that some of them aren't 4* caliber. We all know recruiting services are notorious for "bumping" kids up from 3* to 4* the second they commit to major programs. It's just the reality of the situation. Kinda shady, I know. I think this is yet another example of that. Doesn't necessarily mean the kid is or isn't. That will be for the field to determine.WebFire;1059340 wrote:Mac kids aren't usually 4*. 4* usually get more than Mac offers. Follow now?

Word is that the WR coach visited Neal instead of Meyer. I hope this didn't hurt our chances.

I doubt it. It will between us and Arizona. I think Arizona will win it though.

I think there will be another program in it besides those two.
