I think it's as close to a lock as possible. Definitely helps that he was just in Columbus this past weekend.OneBuckeye;1054854 wrote:Cam Burrows 2013 CB recruit will announce on Thursday. Weird timing because I thought Urban wanted the 2013 guys to wait until after NLOID, but I assume he is all buckeye.

That's cool. If it came across like I meant UM intentionally got rid of kids to free up spots, that's not what I intended, nor do I think he would do that. As I wrote later on, those kids got themselves released. To be honest, I don't even know if those scholarships could be used this year, or if they go into a "bucket" of sorts to be used down the road.karen lotz;1054759 wrote:I'm not off base, you said it would free up spots. My comment about the elementary school game and "he started it" stuff was tongue in cheek in response to Fly4Fun saying Tobias "started it". I didn't mean anything negative towards you at all. Sorry if it came across that way.

In somewhat of a surprise, Trotwood-Madison 2013 star cornerback Cameron Burrows is set to make his college choice. Burrows, one of Ohio's top prospects, will announce this Thursday in a ceremony from his high school.
"I will be making my commitment this Thursday from my high school," Burrows told Scout.com. "I will be deciding between Stanford, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, LSU, Alabama and Tennessee."
Burrows, fresh off leading his team to the Division-II state championship, is one of the top cornerback prospects in the Midwest. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound, athlete holds offers from all of his possible choices, and has accumulated over 15 offers to date. He is currently ranked as a four-star prospect

I'm really hoping we land Burrows. The more and more I read about him, the more excited I get. Sounds like a special ATH that has all the tools to be a lockdown DB. I feel fairly confident that OSU will nab him, but there's always that butterfly feeling where he could end up somewhere else.vball10set;1055512 wrote:http://ohiostate.scout.com/2/1149221.html
I gotta believe, however, that deciding this early [and especially after just visiting Columbus] is a good sign for Ohio State.

Also osu jumped up to #3 on rivals and #4 on scout.
Michigan dropped to #5 on rivals. Still ahead of us on scout, but likely not for long.

Anyone who tries denying Meyer's significance and belittle his hiring is an absolute moron. What Meyer has done in 3 months is truly remarkable.
