Pretty exciting for Burrow. Kind of the all-american type kid. I hope he gets the chance.

I saw burrow when I was home play in a playoff game. I thought he was really good. But not osu good. I do see they beefed up the schedule some this year with zville and Steubenville. And I think I saw he's going to do some camps. He has the tools. He certainly could turn out to be really good, but I was surprised they offered.

Mid, do you know if they are coming to Zanesville, or if Zanesville is going there?
Would love to catch the game if he's coming here.

Nice. Might have to go check it out. Not too many OSU recruits come through Zanesville, last one I remember them playing was Storm Klein, and before that was Curt Lukens my Senior year.

I'll likely go to that one as well. As long as I'm in town.

Athens had 3 kids last year that I thought were easily D1 players. He was def one of them. Him, burrows, and the one WR. No idea on name.
I thought in the playoff game vs tri valley, they should have handed it off to that kid more. But they still won the game. One of the better games I've ever watched.

Ryan Luehrman is the WR You are thinking of, 6'4 and catches everything, just lacking some in the speed dept.Midstate01;1620818 wrote:Athens had 3 kids last year that I thought were easily D1 players. He was def one of them. Him, burrows, and the one WR. No idea on name.

Sounds like today's camp went very well and that Hilliard is out recruiting guys to osu, and he's not even committed.

And we all know that South Dakota is the Mecca of great high school football talent.
This statement kills me: "Schmidt chooses the Buckeyes over offers from a number of schools, including Minnesota, Washington State, North Carolina, Cincinnati, Utah, Rutgers and more."
He chose Ohio State over these other football "powerhouses." That musta been an agonizing decision.

Sounds like a good athletic lineman. A follow up tweet said those measurements listed for the 40, vertical and broad jump would have put him in top 5 of all the categories at the combine this year. Add a few years under a coaching staff that seems to know how to develop lineman and he may end up being something special.WebFire;1624208 wrote:You guys are slacking. OL Grant Schmidt has committed.

Every single one of those programs is more prestigious than Ohio, so STFU
