But uf JUST had a lb decommitt. So that could change things. Opens up a spot for trey there. Gotta figure they'll go hard for him now.

Yea, saw that about 20 minutes after I posted it. I do think he would still be skeptical of being the 4th LB in a class, but you never know. The Rolin kid is coming off ACL surgery.Midstate01;1340170 wrote:But uf JUST had a lb decommitt. So that could change things. Opens up a spot for trey there. Gotta figure they'll go hard for him now.

Rolin is a sure red shirt. He isn't scaring anyone off. Q. Powell is just too slim for LB. He played DE under 200lbs this season. I thought he was a project to teach OLB so no real loss with Powell going elsewhere. UF has a couple other choices, I'm pretty sure Trey is a Buckeye.

Originally heard he was going to announce yesterday, but it sounded like he wanted to wait until after their season is over which I believe is this week, to announce. Sounds like a decision will come soon either way but as midstate said, most believe he is headed to Alabama.Tiger2003;1341352 wrote:Any word on Bell?

Does OSU need a WR? Alex Montgomery of Cypress Bay, FL had 9 catches, 199yds, 3 TDs, two that were one handed TD catches. Also had an int nullified by a bad ref call that pretty much cost his team the game. Unbelievable game, lost to Apopka 53-50. He decommitted from Wake Forest a couple months ago.
Joey Bosa won state yesterday. His lil bro Nick is more of a stud than Joey. Started for Aquinas as a freshman, 14 yrs old, 6'2" , 215lbs. plays 3 DLine positions.

They say nick is on a completely different level then Joey was as a freshman.
Osu needs wr's but doubt he's on the radar. Saw the catches though, they were nice.

@jdemling: Trinity five-star WR James Quick said Louisville is "still slightly ahead of Ohio State" after his weekend official visit to U of L.

I just don't see him leaving lousiville. Though I've said it many times. My neighbor here is a friend of the quick family and he's told me numerous times that James loves osu and his mom gave him the go ahead to go to osu. But he will stay home anyway.

I hope he goes to Louisville. Sounds like a head case. 'Need to connect with my family" LOL wtf? More like he'd ride the bench for a few years at OSU and play right away for Louisville. Some people just aren't winners.Tiger2003;1345008 wrote:@jdemling: Quick said in order for "either school (U of L, Ohio State) to get me, they'll have to connect with my family. Can't ever blame a kid for staying close to home.

Good point. Can we blame him for rotting at an underwhelming football school? He'll never win anything there.Midstate01;1345109 wrote:Can't ever blame a kid for staying close to home.

I agree. It's a dumb decision in a way. But I can't put blame on a kid for wanting to play at his hometown school.

I'm not surprised by this. His injury probably killed his chances of continuing the momentum he had the year before.

Eli Woodard has changed his name to Eli Apple, taking the name of his step father who he has lived with since he was 2

Eli...Apple, I guess....is a boss. People in NJ were NOT happy to lose him. He'll be the next great corner at OSU, imo.

I think so as well. As excited as I am for EE and Marshall, Eli might be my favorite person in this class. Great player and seems to be very intelligent and down to earth as well.
