I think he could still end up at safety. Likely not at punter though.

No disrespect to the kid, but I don't even think the new staff would have given him a second look. I hope I am proven wrong, but I think Frank's best chance to contribute at OSU is on special teams.

I agree that Urban wouldn't give him a second look. But this is what concerns me most about Urban and his staff. We love Ohio State because they win with local Ohio kids. Tressel was great at knowing which local kids would develop into elite college players. Urban has not been recruiting nearly as many Ohio kids. Now, I still want to win, but it won't be the same with a national roster.

Who's we? I want to win, I don't care if we have to get a bunch of Nigerian's over here to play.

No that's how old Declan Sullivan was when he was negligently killed by Notre Dame, swept under the rug by ND adminstration, and ND was punished with a maximum fine of 70k. All the while, everyone kept their job, the parents were paid off to stay quiet and ND fans still haven't had anything to celebrate in 20 years.

We had a "national" roster before.

I don't disagree about OSU not giving him a second look. That being said, after personally watching the kid play, I think down the road he could develop into that possession type of WR similar so players like Sazenbacker. Although he is much bigger at 6'3", 200.

For example, now we have about 8 of the 11 guys on the field being from Ohio and 3 from out of state. I see that ratio reversing under Urban.

It will never be reversed, closer to 50/50 maybe... But Ohio is a top producing state for football talent

Sounds like Ohio State now leads for Mike Mitchell- 4 star LB from Texas.
Jayme Thompson posted on Twitter that "He'll commit to us next week" and Gerry Hamilton of 247 sports says "Ohio State should feel pretty good about Mike Mitchell right now." http://247sports.com/Board/30/Scoop-and-QA-live-from-The-Opening-10541271/26

Would be a huge pickup, and kind of out of nowhere...
