I think he could still end up at safety. Likely not at punter though.Midstate01;1207478 wrote:WR no doubt

No disrespect to the kid, but I don't even think the new staff would have given him a second look. I hope I am proven wrong, but I think Frank's best chance to contribute at OSU is on special teams.se-alum;1207426 wrote:Does this mean they expect Epitropolous(sp?) to be at WR or DB?
I agree that Urban wouldn't give him a second look. But this is what concerns me most about Urban and his staff. We love Ohio State because they win with local Ohio kids. Tressel was great at knowing which local kids would develop into elite college players. Urban has not been recruiting nearly as many Ohio kids. Now, I still want to win, but it won't be the same with a national roster.slcoach;1209120 wrote:No disrespect to the kid, but I don't even think the new staff would have given him a second look. No that's how old Declan Sullivan was when he was negligently killed by Notre Dame, swept under the rug by ND adminstration, and ND was punished with a maximum fine of 70k. All the while, everyone kept their job, the parents were paid off to stay quiet and ND fans still haven't had anything to celebrate in 20 years.karen lotz;1211404 wrote:is that the answer to both parts of the question?
We had a "national" roster before.gyea36;1210903 wrote:I agree that Urban wouldn't give him a second look. But this is what concerns me most about Urban and his staff. I don't disagree about OSU not giving him a second look. That being said, after personally watching the kid play, I think down the road he could develop into that possession type of WR similar so players like Sazenbacker. Although he is much bigger at 6'3", 200.slcoach;1209120 wrote:No disrespect to the kid, but I don't even think the new staff would have given him a second look. For example, now we have about 8 of the 11 guys on the field being from Ohio and 3 from out of state. I see that ratio reversing under Urban.Pick6;1211425 wrote:We had a "national" roster before.

URBAN’S WAY Here’s where coach Urban Meyer has landed the last 23 recruits for the 2012 and 2013 recruiting classes:
■ Ohio (9)
■ Florida (2)
■ Massachusetts (2)
■ California
■ Colorado
■ Illinois
■ Indiana
■ Missouri
■ New Jersey
■ North Carolina
■ Pennsylvania
■ South Carolina
■ Texas
Using those numbers, that's 9 from Ohio and 14 from out of state.vball10set;1214043 wrote:http://www.toledoblade.com/Ohio-State/2012/06/28/Meyer-finding-talent-all-over.html
