I would assume has alot to do with Huerman. I think he was also visiting south bend this weekend.

Or it could be the creep he hung out with on his visit.

@Ben_Jones88: Have no idea if it's related, but Anzalone did interact with OSU Super Fan and decommitted shortly after the story came out


man I hope that there is no correlation between that story and him decommitting.

Where did you see he was visiting South Bend? Nothing on ND boards about it.

Read there were some pics with he and creeper dude, too bad if that's enough to cause a de-commit but I do understand the skin crawling feeling that would be associated with that...

He's had an offer since at least February.

If they are referring to this tweet:
Jason Sapp ‏ @BGI_JasonSapp #NotreDame offered LB Alex Anzalone has confirmed that he has decommitted from #OhioState

That is just how Sapp tweets. He is just saying that Anzalone has an offer from Notre Dame previously. Sapp is the Notre Dame 247 guy.

May 4, 2012 - Alex Anzalone, a top linebacker recruit, has decommitted from Ohio State just weeks after committing to the Buckeyes. Out of Wyomissing (Pa.) High School, Anzalone is a consensus four-star recruit. He holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Boston Coll., Colorado, Connecticut, Duke, Florida, Florida St., Georgia, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan St., North Carolina, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn St., Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, South Carolina, Stanford, Syracuse, Temple, USC, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia.
Anzalone was one of the recruits involved in a bizarre situation with a convicted sex offender and Ohio State fan by the name of Eric Waugh. It is unknown if that situation had anything to do with Anzalone's decommitment.

Also, I don't even think Notre Dame was in his top 5. Maybe Heuerman has some pull to get his interest up, but I don't see ND as the reason he decommitted. He also said he is no longer considering OSU at all. Very odd.
