Maybe Big Red should have kept some of those 68 points in their back pocket for next week....There gonna need them.

Yea, just like POS...oops, I meant SOS said about how Big Red was gonna lose to Massillon in their new uniforms!

Losing "ONE" player changed the game???? Sh_t in one hand...wish in the other!

I was there. Up 55-13 and Prather still throwing the ball to JoJo out of the backfield. Were you at the game? I going to say no.

what are you saying ? he did run it up? nahhhh IC still had its 1st stringers in the game anyway .. Just like many great coaches have said .. Its up to your team to stop our team .. If Reno is throwing passes .. They are safe outs .. You think we are going to be deep pocket passing and risk hurting our QB noway .. BTW Ive seen IC not lay off the gas on a few teams ,these last few years.... and besides if your team is going to line 9 in the box what is our guy supposed to do .. Our QB's could be calling audibles .. Our second team qb threw a ball or two ..They work hard and deserve to play .. We cant just take knee's in the 3rd quarter ..

Furda stays healthy and the game is interesting for a little longer, but the outcome is the same (maybe 78-42). IC could not stop Big Red in any way, shape, or form. Even with 9 in the box JoJo was getting 5 yards a clip between the tackles. Let alone the little dup passes going for 50+ yard gains.

IC probably has more natural talent on that team than any other team in the valley, but Conner is a bum and doesn't know how to develop talent. If these teams switched coaches 3 years ago IC would be the favorite to win D3 and Big Red would be lucky to be 5-5. The truth hurts and the truth is Conner lets these kids down year after year.

@ d.woods50fan., Look at that schedule. The only ones they should loose to are St.C and Martins Ferry..... I cant wait to see
Justin Cummings passing it to Alex Young like David Kemp did with Mike Furda... I think itll be a good year in 2012.

If Reno was really trying to "run it up", then he wouldn't have had the freshman quarterback take 4 straight knees on the IC 10 yard line with 3 minutes to go in the game.

Or took knees on the XP after the last few touchdowns.

@ garweft, Connor is a great coach... oh so youre saying that Niko Otto and Mike Furda [among others] aint what you call producing talent?
I say that is.....

Well maybe it wouldnt be 24-20 Creek.... that was dumb of me. I would say 28-46 Big Red would take it. But it is what it is.

@ MANAZE, I would love for Creek to move to a high-octane offense if Connor wants to do no-huddle. Spread out the D and see where it
takes them. I would love to see them run more shotgun. I would also like Connor to pass it more. Like on 3rd and 26, run it up the middle?
I dont care if you have Niko Otto or Mark Ludewig, we had David Kemp! He could heave it deep to Alex Young or Mike Furda for all I care.
Also, looking back into the past, what if David Kemp started back in 2009 as QB? Just imagine....... Think Justin Cumming as QB will go
good in 2012? We have him for 2 more years as QB....

He was on D when Jo Jo picked up the first down...that was the play he got hurt on.

Also, you act like everything is done in a vacuum...Big Red was already adjusting after the first drive, which is a credit to the coaches.

I mean on that 3 and out... you just dont get it. Mike Furda gave us this little something that barely anyone else on the team had... he was
a leader for our team...

I'd give you that if the game was actually close, but that game was worse than even the score indicated.

68 points and 600+ yards of offense and you're making excuses like it was a nail-bitter.

The facts show that Indian Creek's defense just isn't that good. You had Linsly put up over 50 on your own field. St C scored 42. So pretty much any team with a good offense scored at will. To go anywhere in the playoffs you need a defense. That should be IC's major concern.

Ill give IC credit for the start but noway they score 28 unless they put a few in garbage time IMO .. We would have put Murry on Furda anyway .. Our staff knows how to adjust

1 player doesn't make a team unless this kid was a major D1 recruit going somewhere like Alabama and was rated top 5 player in the counrty. Everone keeps giving IC credit for getting better but this was the WORSE lose in the Big Red vs IC series, in the Connors era, and I believe in School History.

I agree on the worse loss. I was surprised Reno kept his first team in to score two more TDs. Its not like Reno to do that.

Congrats Big Red and good luck the rest of the way.

It was almost guaranteed that this thread would come down to Reno ran the score up and Furda's absence cost the creek a better showing due to his T.D..

Let's revisit Furda's T.D.: Kemp releases a floater just as he is being hit; the defensive back slips in the end zone, Furda adjusts to the ball and scores; hardly a highlite reel play.
But hey, when you are drowning, a straw looks like a log.

ManO'War, how did your Avatar show up on Manaze's posts?

I keep reading IF'S, well here is one for you.
IF luke#36 has the INT(pick 6) right to him on the first drive it gets ugly even earlier.
