One of my sisters-in-law has recently been in severe financial distress (like, having her cell phone service shut off for a four-figure unpaid balance, among many other things).

:huh:Yet - she calls my wife and/or my MIL on our land line about every other night. The odd part is that a different caller-ID number comes up every time she calls us - but it's always from the same area code (the same one in which she lives). Sometime it's a person's name, other times it's a business name.

My guess is that she's managed to find a source for stolen cell phone ID numbers. Any possibility this is the case?

This is Muggsy... six husbands, two cohabits, and God only knows what she's been doing in the last three months to support herself. She's already positive for hepatitis - and that's what she's admitted to. :cry:

I'd become a monk in Tibet before I'd touch her....

maybe she uses a friends phone?

I am guessing she is banging the entire town. She either borrows phones from friends while she is getting hammered prior to the hook-up, corporate owned phones of guys she is banging, or those that she is about to.;)

Clearly she waits until guys are out jogging then goes into the house and uses whatever phone she can find. We can all apologize to thavoice's wife now.
